Review summary

Did not get our money's worth. The food was awful, where ever you ate.  But, at least the lines were long, either in the buffets or dining service. There was an unfortunate emphasis on alcohol. Many people were drunk and rude. There was a Walmart-airport atmosphere. The ship was in a state of disrepair. Many furnishings in the public area and in the cabin were broken and old looking, think old Las Vegas. The adult entertainment was not great, at all. One female entertainer looked like she was on a death march. The destination was beautiful.

I give one star for the organized activities for my Grandson, he was very happy. He's easier pleased. I purchased an expensive massage, which was 15 minutes late, was advised it was only 5 minutes late, then I was given a "fast and hurried" massage, I guess an effort to "catch up". Not sure how that was supposed to work. Oh well.

Small, no electrical outlets, broken lights, really poor remote, difficult to preview account and order excursions

Ship tip

If you are on the Legend, prepare for pushing and shoving. Long lines. Bad smells throughout the ship. Broken furniture and broken in cabin light fixtures. Lots of drunk people with no manners. Alcohol flows freely, it is emphasized.

We didn't go here. Apparently no one has, impassible due to ice. They don't tell you this in advance, apparently global warming has made this off limits.

The loud drunks lead me to make my way to my cabin straight after dinner on my cruise. I was lucky that carnival cruises leaving Australia only allow smoking on decks 9&10. I found the food was good but no great.

Why you guys giving him sarcastic remarks?? Seriously, it's his review on his cruise. Mine on the Dawn sucked to. Get over it.

On the cruise a couple of weeks ago, I did not find the problems you described. True the food was was average, but did have some meals that were very good. I did not see drunks everywhere. Good service seem to be the rule.

I was just on it a couple months ago, it is nothing like you describe it. I think Cunard is more for you....

The cruise was wonderful, we didn't have any issues with our cabin and I'm picky with that. The food was pretty much average, some things good ,some not .The steakhouse was delicious. We had a couple favorite before and after dinner bars and the bartenders were wonderful. I didn't see drunk people everywhere. I guess my only complaint would be the smoke in casino. Invest in some way to clear the air somewhat.

Oh well there's always a different cruise line for you. But was it all really that bad?
