Review summary

My husband and I took my mom on this cruise - and we had a blast!  Loved the scenery, people, staff and excursions.  We were a little concerned about the size of the room with three people, but it worked out great and the balcony was fantastic to see the wildlife and scenery. The staff was wonderful - our cabin steward and dining room waiter always knew ours names and were amazing!

The port stays and excursions were spectacular. The visit to Victoria B.C. was too short, but still a lovely stop.

We are all thrilled to have checked this adventure off our "bucket list"!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Some of the design was outdated, but the ship was very clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Size was good for a cruise stateroom. Loved the balcony for seeing scenery, wildlife, sunsets/sunrises and just relaxing.

Ship tip

Utilize the Serenity bar/pool area if traveling without children.

Ports of call

Seattle, Washington

If you have the time the Seattle tours were good especially with the airport transfer. Nice to see the city and not have to worry about carting around luggage. Only complaint is that the stop at Pikes Place Public Market was too short for all there is to see and do.

Get a viewing spot on deck early. Unforgettable views!

Skagway, Alaska

The Yukon train and bus excursion was fantastic. We booked through Shore Excrsions - Chilkoot tours and our guide Brian was great. The trip into the Yukon was awesome and our favorite part of our trip.

Juneau, Alaska

Bike and new with a view was spectacular! As an avid biker the 8 mile ride was an easy trek, but the views of Mendenhal glacier were fantastic. Our guides were great and the beer tasting at the end of the exploration was fun.

Ketchikan, Alaska

5 out of 5
The Eagles, Totems and Lighthouses boat excursion was fantastic. Captain Rob was both informative and humorous, and the onboard treats were very yummy! The duck ride was also great especially if you are interested in the sites of Ketchikan.

Victoria, British Columbia

Carefully plan what you want to do. The shore stop is very short and many of the shops were closed downtown by the time we arrived. The excursions fill up quickly, so don't wait to book for Victoria

I agree Victoria was too short and too late. Hardly anything open
