Review summary

Our overall trip to on Carnival Cruise to Alaska was very good.  The housekeeping staff, wait staff and help desk staff did an above and beyond job, taking care of all our needs and making us feel welcomed and at home.

The buffet food could be improved apon, for example a pasta bar, like they have for special order pizzas, more options in the salad bar and better coffee.

The dinners were very good and well prepared, again wait staff were excellent!

I think we needed more time in Ketchacan and Victoria.  More shopping options aboard ship and additional giveaways would be nice would help guest participation.

Our excretions were well planned except in Victoria were we got into port at 7:30pm so we could not use our bus tour, and will be applying for a full refund.

Again, over all our trip to Alaska was a once in a life time experience and we are all greatful we had the opportunity to go.

We had fun with the onboard activities, we were on this same cruise.  Every day there was a crossword/game put out for people to take near the taste bar. There were trivia games two and three times a day, bean tosses, champagne bottle ring tosses (both fun to watch), the Klondike Festival and Ice Carving demos were great!  I suppose trivia isn't for everyone, but it was fun to watch, too, as we would do that, too.

When is the best time to go to Alaska? My wife and I decided to do the Alaska cruise on our 10 year. We have along time till that comes. I'm ready to catch salmon and take tour of a glacier
