Review summary

My husband and I recently took an Alaskan cruise for our 30th wedding anniversary.  Alaska was beautiful and we would recommend this to everyone.  Our cruise experience was very good. We loved all our ports of call, including excursions booked. The shows in the main theater at night, on the Carnival Legend, were phenomenal. Honestly, the only disappointment was the food aboard the ship.  We have cruised Carnival several times, and the food is primarily the same overall, but that has not stopped us from booking, again and again.

The dining experience was great, but the food was a disappointment

Onboard Activities

Would have liked to see more activities during sea days versus same activities

Entertainment

Cabin / Stateroom

Loved having a balcony. Stateroom steward (and her staff) was always working to keep our room in tip-top shape. They always work hard.

Ship tip

I love taking a 12 pack of cokes and making a coke float from the ice cream machine each day. It was always a highlight.

We took an excursion with Chilkoot Charters and Tours. We had James as our guide and he was AWESOME. Would definitely recommend this.

We only had a short period in Victoria (from 8:30 pm to 11:30 pm), but it is worth the trip via bus (I believe was $10 each person) to downtown.
