Learning tip - don't book a plane out of New York City before 1 PM on departure day, their disembarkation was sort of messed up; we could not get off the ship until 9:45, - and we were in disembarkation group 2. You can't book their Carnival bus unless your flight is after 1 PM.

Pack your own food for lunch and dinner, breakfast was good, fresh omlets were the best , really its hard to mess up breakfast. Stay away from the dinning room and buffet

Get to the Serenity Spa adults-only area early to get the best sofa/loveseat/lounge chair. Also, if you're willing to carry your own luggage at debarkation, you get off the ship first.

If u like Mexican there is Mexican on the lido deck back by the pool, the tacos are awesome!! There is a hidden pizzeria and fish place that are free, u have to search for them.

Have breakfast in the main dining room, it's the best meal of the day.
Elcruiser
Breakfast was excellent and the music.

Definitely check out the Alchemy Bar!

The location of the kitchen galley (which serves both restaurants) prevents you from crossing the third floor directly. This meant walking through the smoky casino each time. We had to go to the 5th floor to get to the Gold dining room on the third floor. We didn't like that.
