so-so cruise, cabin crowded and not enough storage, whole ship was over-airconditioned, super cold, wore a fleece jacket and was still shivering, enjoyed Hasbro game show and dive-in movie

The cruise ship was awesome!!!... by goosebunny

Sail date: /
Ship: Carnival Glory

The cruise ship was awesome!!! Great decor and easy navigating the different floors and the various areas of the ship. Only negative I can express; 2 out of the 6 hot tubs were cold the entire trip. Performances were stellar! Food was phenomenal! The people were All-Stars. This was the absolute BEST cruise to-date.

Amazing Cruise by MonicaGerz

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Carnival Glory / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

Our cruise was amazing, even though my son was sick almost the entire time with a sore throat, ear ache and fever off and on. We went to the ship's Dr and got medicine, but it didn't really help. They were all amazing there as well. We loved just spending time on the Lido deck watching the different contests and fun games going on. The food was great, but I do with the buffet on 9 Aft had a little more variety. The MDR was great, the waiters and staff were awesome and friendly. I had some spa treatments and while they were all amazing, it was a little annoying the way they tried to get me to buy their products afterwards. with that being said, I did buy some from the facial I had and I love them! The ports were fun and we enjoyed them very much. Getting off and on the ship was super easy and painless at the ports as well. Overall, this was a great trip and we're already planning another cruise with Carnival for next year!

Disappointed by kolinao

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Carnival Glory / Destination: Caribbean - Western

The staff was rude. The food in the main dining room was cold. I won a jackpot in the casino and was only offered one free drink. A staff member shoved me out of the way while I was pouring a cup of coffee so he could fill his cup first. If you didn't purchase the drink package, you had to go all the way up to deck 9 to get something to drink. There are no other stations around the ship. Very disappointed with this cruise.

very disappointed - three good days, four bad days by WJB6445

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Glory / Destination: Caribbean - Western

This was our worst trip ever. Thirteen trips in the past ten years and probably our last cruise for a long while. We were extremely disappointed.......... this should be a step up from a resort holiday but it was not. We will be very hesitant to eat/drink on a ship in the future. We love the different ports, the entertainment but would want to bring our own food and drinks.

Cruised on Glory in December... by jeffmasayo

Sail date: /
Ship: Carnival Glory

Cruised on Glory in December 2018 and had a fantastic time. Dustin, the cruise director and his team were the highlights of the on board time. We had great service (cabin and dining room) with too many names to recall, as we are seniors. Have already booked our next Carnival cruise!!

Everything was perfect! Dustin the Cruise Director was extraordinary! So funny and enthusiast. The shows at Amber Palace were great. I didn't miss one. The actors can dance and sing beautifully. I would go again...very soon.

Great first family cruise by Reabelle

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Carnival Glory / Destination: Caribbean - Western

I would say that this was definitely a successful and fun adventure for our family. We enjoyed the ship and the ports. The staff was extremely friendly. We also really enjoyed and our dinner service how much attention they paid to my daughter and listen to what she had to say when she tried to order for herself. Just extremely friendly staff willing to answer questions.

Great Cruise!! by tim4663

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Glory / Destination: Caribbean - Western

This was our first cruise where we weren't with a big group and it was very relaxing. Lots of fun! Met a lot of people and had very interesting conversations. Enjoyed all the ports. Crew was very friendly and helpful! It seemed there were a lot more children on this cruise than previous ones.

Great start, terrible ending by jason80inky

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Carnival Glory / Destination: Caribbean - Western

This cruise started out fantastically. I am normally a pamper my self type of person, but this cruise I decided to book an excursion at every port of call. I opted to book one excursion through the ship mate app, one directly from a place in Roatan, and the last 2 were carnival sanctioned excursions. My only major complaint is how Canival handled things in Cozumel. I booked the amazing secret river, which requires a ferry ride to Playa Del Carmen on the mexican mainland. The water conditions between Cozumel and Playa del Carmen were extremely dangerous. SO dangerous in fact this is what happened during the ride on the ferry of doom. About 10 minutes into the worst experience of my life the waves were so high, they were breaking over the top of the ferry; at one point in time, the entire left side of the ferry was up on it's side and the windows were under water, and the coast guard had to escort us to make sure we made it safely. There were no amount of lifejackets on that ferry that would have saved anyone's life had we capsized. One employee on the ferry actually took her cell phone out and was shooting video of people puking and getting tossed around all while laughing about it. This ferry ride caused me to be so sick that I couldn't enjoy my excursion. Carnival basically used the first group of excursions as guinea pigs to see how the sea conditions were in my opinion. We were the only ferry allowed to leave that morning. The rest of the excursions were cancelled due to how bad the water conditions were. What do I get for carnival basically putting my life in danger you might ask? Their resolution was $33. I feel like they put profit over safety by putting people's lives in danger by knowing how terrible the water conditions were. I didn't even hear an "I'm sorry you had that experience" from guest services or the shore excursion desk. Carnival dropped failed miserably in the guest services department so bad that I will never consider cruising them again. Do not ever book an excursion that puts you in harm's way by having to take the ferry to Playa Del Carman.

This was my wife and... by CharlesA55

Sail date: /
Ship: Carnival Glory

This was my wife and I's second cruise. Because of my work schedule we ended up thanking a cruise over a holiday week. I feel that the ship was just overloaded. First night our dinner reservation had us seated at a booth with another couple that we didn't know. While I don't mind sharing a table,a booth is far too personal of a space to share. We tried to request another seating arrangement. We then got told they over booked early dining. So we had to switch to late. There were several other couple with seating issues the first night. We chalked it up to first night hiccups. The second day we were in Port, which is where the trouble continued. Communication was so poor for priority debarkation. As it was for the rest of the trip. Getting off always took a very long time and was managed very poorly. The other issue was children. They ran late night programs for them... Then they would go running and screaming down the hall. The ship was not all bad though. Are room service was awesome. All the staff was super friendly. The photoshoot drops we're great. The steakhouse, I can't say enough, please go, and get the table art for desert.

Enjoyed the 7 day cruise... by AliciaBoz10

Sail date: /
Ship: Carnival Glory

Enjoyed the 7 day cruise at Grand Turks, Puerto Rico, St. Thomas, and Amber Cove. We got a junior suite (9205) that was next to the extended captain's suite (9203) and thought there would be a privacy issue but we had awesome neighbors and was offered to come over, so it was an excellent start. Specifically picked lido deck to get to Guys Burgers, Red Frog bar, and lido buffet a little bit quicker. My husband and I just had a blast, our Stewards were the best and knew our names and gave us the best towel animals. We did bingo, Hasbro show and had the best time, while I did the rock show and loved it!! Every night was a great movie, Avengers Infinity War, Solo a Star Wars Story, Mission Impossible Fallout, Incedibles 2, and Jurrasic World Fallen Kingdom, which always included a Pizza Pirate run afterwards! Disembarking into each port was easy and just was an easy relaxing cruise. Definitely would book again!

Embarkation process went quickly, we were able to walk around and get up to the lido deck quickly, but the whole entire cruise was awesome, this was my 13th cruise and I enjoy each and everyone of them.
