Not During Spring Break by JanD4

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Carnival Glory / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

Many, many college and high school students on the ship. There was a lot of drinking. The ship's Lido Deck tables were not kept clean and the floor was cluttered with "stuff" most of the time. The food was not hot unless there were complaints and then only when I insisted on it. Breakfasts were awful both on the Lido deck as well as the dining room. The salads that were available were very good as well as the soups. There didn't seem to be the friendliness among the staff as I've seen on other cruises.

7-day Carnival Glory Cruise by ArtT

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Glory / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

The Glory is immaculate. Despite having well over 3,000 guests onboard, the crew kept the ship spotless. It was rare to see a cup just abandoned. The crew is really on top of things.

A great spring break family cruise. by DaveN

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Carnival Glory / Destination: Caribbean - Western

We wanted an alternative to turning our twin 17 year old and 15 year old boys loose on an unsupervised trip. We found the perfect solution on the Carnival Glory. They made many friends and had a great time without too much interference from Mom and Dad. The excursions were fun and everyone had a great time. When polled, they'd all to it over again.

Friendly, Fun, and great Food by JohnC40

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Carnival Glory / Destination: Caribbean - Western

Carnival provides first class service and food. I was hesitant about booking with Carnival due to the high number of children who would be on the ship. However, I rarely found this to be an issue. Overall, the food, the entertainment, and the service were better than other ships we have sailed on such as the Queen Mary and the Amsterdam, Although the ship was not as beautiful as those, the ride was just as smooth. The cleanliness of the ship, From the marvelous food service personnel and cabin steward, to the exceptional cruise director and entertainment crew, this ship has a lot to offer and is an exceptional value. I was traveling with a family member who just turned 90. The crew were incredibly attentive to her needs and would quickly offer assistance while boarding and disembarking, at dinner, and going on shore excursions.

My first cruise by PeggyW3

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Carnival Glory / Destination: Caribbean - Western

I enjoyed my cruise. The food was great everywhere! I had a massage and facial while onboard and it was great. The crew and staff are very friendly. I was confussed about debarkment, as one person said something different from another. I just left and 9 am and it went fine. Everyone should try a cruise.

Good Cruise by DottieK

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Glory / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

I have cruised before, but my husband hasn't. He loved it! The food was great, service was good, and the ports were awesome! Our only complaint would be that because of it being during Spring Break, there were a lot of families which meant a lot of kids!

Best Carnival Cruise you will ever take! by MarileeL1

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Carnival Glory / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

The layout of the ship was awesome! Although there were almost 3,000 people aboard it felt like a small ship. We loved the stadium seating by the pool. The two divided dining rooms with four different dining times was an awesome idea! We really felt that there were only a couple hundred people on board. There were no lines or waiting. The service and friendliness was the best on The Glory. Every accommodation was made and even a complaint was handled to perfection.

Carnival Glory . . .was glorious! Great food with many dining options . . . crew was friendly and professional . . . shows were great . . . great variety of excursions . . . great shopping tips . . . very clean ship! Embarkation and deparkation was so quick, easy and well organized! Amazing! This cruise and cruise line offers as much relaxation and/or as much fun and excitement as you would want. It is great for couples, family reunions, etc. We've cruised other lines . . .but you can't beat Carnival!

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Glory / Destination: Caribbean - Western

My wife and I just wanted to get away and we did.fabulous time can't wait to do it again someday.Carnival has improved 100 percent from the last time I was on one of there ships.Like I said they need a designated smoking section outside in the bars. non smokers are the majority now that is my only complaint. My wife and I were unable to dance because of the smoke.

HAD A GREAT TIME by MaryannV

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Glory / Destination: Caribbean - Western

UPON ARRIVING TO CARNIVAL GLORY ON THE MAIN FLOOR, I FIRST THOUGHT THE FURINTURE WAS VERY DIRTY. THEN AS I MOVED ON THE THE OTHER FLOORS OF THE SHIP, I REALIZED IT WAS THE COLOR OF THE FABRIC THEY USED. MY ONLY SUGGESTION WOULD BE TO RECOVER ALL THE FURNITURE IN A FABRIC THAT DIDN'T LOOK DIRTY. I OVERHEARD OTHER MAKING THE SAME COMMENT. OTHERWISE IT WQS BEAUTIFUL, ESPECIALLY THE THEATER ROOM. WE HAVE BEEN ON SEVERAL CRUSIE LINES AND ENJOYED EACH OF THEM.

The Carnival Glory by LoriL9

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Carnival Glory / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

We took our family and the entertainment was rated PG, but it was defineatly PG-13 or R. They took all of camp carnival to this show so we assumed it was family friendly, they did make note that some costuming may be revealing, that was an understatment! Our wait staff was in training which was fine, but the service had something to be desired. We were patient and they were friendly and very apologetic.

MY HUSBAND IS RECOUPING FROM A SERIOUS ILLNESS, AND WHAT BETTER WAY TO ENJOY A VACATION THAN ON THIS CRUISE. IT CHANGED HIS WHOLE OUTLINE OF WHAT TO EXPECT ON A CRUISE. EVERYTHING WAS EXCELLENT, WE HAVE NO COMPLAINTS. THE STATEROOM WAS VERY CLEAN. THE SERVICE FROM EVERYONE WAS EXCELLENT. EVERYONE WAS VERY COURTEOUS, HELPFUL ,ALWAYS A SMILING FACE, WHICH CONTRIBUTED TO US HAVING SUCH A WONDERFUL TIME. ON OUR NEXT VACATION, WE ARE CERTAINLY GOING TO TRAVEL ON THE CARNIVAL LINE.
