Review summary

I had a great cruise, I was concerned about the length, I had only previously sailed for 8 days at the most, but even after 12 days I did not want to go home and now we are planning a 15 dat cruise for next year.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
We had priority boarding this sailing and we went from the security screening straight to the ship in about 30 minutes.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The dining rooms and buffets are great and I think upgraded since the last time I sailed the Glory

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
The fitness center was great and I appreciate the staff but other guest often didn't wipe down equipment after use which annoyed me.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
I really enjoyed the playlist performances but for some reason they we all really short on this cruise, basically only 30 minutes compared to 45 minutes on all the other ships I have sailed. The variety acts were a mixed bag and the comedians were just okay.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
My room stewards were great

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
I think that the ship must have been upgraded recently, I have sailed on this ship two time prior and the last time I remember thinking it was shabby, but this time the all the bathrooms were nicely done, the Amber Place looked brand new and the dining rooms also look like they had been refreshed.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
The room was comfortable and I like being mid-ship, you could see the wear and tear (one bedside lamp wasn't working and their were scratches on the sofa) but all very minor details.

Ports of call

Miami, Florida

Frederiksted, St. Croix, U.S.V.I.

We did an excursion, but not much to see or do.

Pointe-A-Pitre, Guadeloupe

3 out of 5
They do not speak much english at this port and you need to buy most things in Euros or on your credit card. Our tour guide was basically just our driver, she told us little to nothing about the island and disappeared for two hours to pick up her child from school, however the island is beautiful and we go to do a lot of things on our excursion including the beach.

Bridgetown, Barbados

5 out of 5
This was probably my favorite port we went on an excellent tour and got lost of great pictures.

Fort-De-France, Martinique

5 out of 5
I loved this port, we went to a waterfall, which surprisingly I had never done before. We couldn't visit the volcano because of rain but it was still lots of fun.

St. John's, Antigua

4 out of 5
I did a really fun excursion but the tour was fun basically because of our tour guides, they sang and danced and told interesting stories and then we went to a beach break which was fun and relaxing.

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

4 out of 5
We didn't do an excursion since we had been to this island before, however we went downtown which we hadn't done previously and found really good deals on souvenirs.

Tortola, British Virgin Islands

3 out of 5
I liked this port and got some great pictures, but their was not much to do (however you can get free wi-fi outside the Diamonds International.

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
Not bad other than the long lines
