Review summary

The favorite part was looking forward to the next morning at a different port.  The cruise ship was the dumps. on the Lido deck they had the water slide close / roped off for repairs.  The maintenance was done on the ship (welding, restructure / building, fixing out of date equipment.  This ship "Glory" should have been docked and not in use to cruise passenger's.  I had an balcony room and the smell from the welding was awful every morning.

Glory is a old out dated ship to cruise for seven days.

Wondering same? Were going May 13 were told all renovations would be completed.

Alot of times not all of the work is completed by the first trip out of dry dock so there may still be construction going on. Also, I think staff changes over alot during dry dock so there's probably some training issues on those first trips back out.

TNTGreen... I am just wondering the reason for avoiding the cruises immediately after dry dock? Thanks for any info.

we were on her in January. It was great.

Was on there 2014. I didn't even realize the age of the ship until I Wikipediaed it after the trip. It was launched in 2003.

Yes. People do your research! So many ways to get great facts and info if you just take a few hours before booking and do it.

Well that is why they are updating it. It's going into dry dock Saturday. Went on it in May and had zero issues and going back in her this May. Just a heads up avoid booking a cruise on any cruise line 2 weeks before or 2 weeks out of dry dock
