Review summary

We have been anticipating this cruise for 9 months. My OCD leant itself to lots of checks, re-checks, videos, blogs and boards to learn as much as I could about the cruising process and the particulars about our ship. I can say we were well prepared, there were very few negative surprises, lots of AHAH

and many we can do this better next time moments.  The cruise was an excellent value, the cabin was clean and actually had more storage space than I anticipated. The embarkation and disembarkation process was very smooth, Our only concern was the food temperature not taste.  The food in the buffet was seldom if ever hot and at times barely warm.  I was concerned about how that may be from a health perspective but so far, so good.  I would strongly suggest Carnival Glory find a way to maintain a palatable and safe food temperature.  Other than that, we will loved our cruise and will return,

Ship Quality

The refrigerators never stay cold!

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
It was a comfortable size and clean, climate control not consistent, the bed was very comfortable, the refrigerator was replaced due to it not getting cold and the replacement did not work any better.

Ship tip

Please work on making the food on the buffet a more palatable temperature. I could not even melt butter in my oatmeal on any time or day of my cruise.

Thanks for the tip. We are sailing Glory this coming Saturday. I have a sensitive stomach as is so I sure don't need food poisoning.

We use the made to order a lot, too. The Wok is excellent as is Guy's burgers. We go to the dining room a lot for our meals. Great service and food is hot and delicious. We're on the Glory for 21 nights starting Jan 23rd. It will be our second cruise on the Glory. We enjoyed the ship the first time and are excited for the upcoming cruise.

I try to avoid the buffet as much as possible. My husband got food poisoning once and it wasn't fun. We try all the places where things are made to order. Love the Wok for lunch. Finally going on a ship with the 2.0 upgrade. Looking forward to those places to eat at. Will be going on the glory in Feb. can't wait!
