it was a cruise, so it wasn't all bad, but of the 15 we've taken so far, this was definitely the worst ... and by a long shot.  don't get me wrong, there were bright spots, our room steward being one, but this ship functioned as though it was short-staff for the entire week.  biggest problem?  too many closures (especially food options) resulting in long lines where things were open.

carnival?  never again - no matter how inexpensive it is.

Cabin / Stateroom
our steward was the best part of our cruise. excellent. room lacked space to hang long dresses, but now we know why: NO ONE BROUGHT THEM SINCE THE DRESS CODE WASN'T ENFORCED IN THE DINING ROOM!!!!!

Tip

don't miss your dining room meals if you want to eat. if you wait too long for lunch, the entire buffet is likely to be closed - ALL FOUR SECTIONS OF IT AT THE SAME TIME!!!
