Can't wait until my next cruise!

Sail Date: May 05, 2007

Room Type: Oceanview

I was on Carnival's ship "Glory" on the 7 day Western Caribbean tour. Checking in was kind of disorganized and way too many places you had to get in line to complete that check-in process that seemed unnecessary. But, the ship was very nice, the buffet food for breakfast was much better than the food in the main dining room, so the majority of the time we just ate there. Their dinner in the main dining room was very good and of course, the waiters and staff were wonderful. The best was the premium dinner that cost an extra $30 per person in their "exclusive" dining room, it was worth every penny of the money. The land excursions were great and the room with the ocean view window was great also. Overall, the trip was a huge success!

Pros: The ship was only 3 years old and designed much better than the older ones.

Cons: Trying to find someone that knew about the drink tickets I pre-purchased online.

Recommends Carnival Glory? Yes!

Belize City, Belize
A must see are the Chacchoben Mayan Ruins. It is very historical and a great place to actually get to climb and look at the ruins up close. We took the City Tour along with the ruins, and the City Tour is a waste of time. All we did was try to get down streets that were way too narrow for a huge bus, and it really showed the depth of the poverty in that City.
Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico
The day at the private beach was wonderful. For only $39 you got the entire day at the beach with an open bar, free water toys to use, and beautiful white sand beachs. Very nice.
Cozumel, Mexico
We just went shopping which was great. Nice place to wander around and visit the various vendors.
Nassau, Bahamas
Nassau is beautiful...I thought there would be more Anna Nicole Smith trinkets to buy on the streets, but the only reference to her I saw was a sign at the Tatoo Parlor where she supposedly got some art work done!
Don't Miss: Shopping!
