A: How many can you safely carry up or down the gangway ramps, stairs or down long halls without impeding others? That's the carry-on luggage limit, which will be different for everybody based on their individual abilities or limitations.

A: For standard cabins, 1 N. American and 1 European just by the vanity desk. A third outlet in the bathroom is a trickle charger for electric razors and toothbrushes, it only works when bathroom light is on.
Answered by maryred on December 28, 2022
A: Two (2) inside the cabin. They are right below the mirror at the vanity/dressing table.

A: like IAMMEE said, the book is better. Just google the differences between both and you will see. If you have an emergency outside the US, you will need the book.
Answered by crusin4gramma on December 27, 2022
A: If you have both take both. The full book is like an insurance policy, should you need to fly home early from a cruise. But you can leave it in the cabin safe right after the cabins open until the day as you disembark (along with your driver's licens... e). The card is much easier (& waterproof) to take with you in to the ports in your wallet or phone case.See More

A: Thanks y’all! First time going on a cruise just wanna make sure all my ducks are in a row lol
Answered by jackndana on December 29, 2022
A: Passport book. While the card is better than just a passport, if you have an emergency and need to return to the US, options are limited with the card.
Answered by IAMMEE on December 27, 2022
A: **Correction**. Passport is better than just a birth certificate.
Answered by IAMMEE on December 27, 2022
A: My opinion is they have equal value
Answered by Carnivalfoodie on December 27, 2022
A: you will need birth certificate and I.D.
Answered by hlucas45 on December 13, 2022
A: If you have the time, it is so much easier with a Passport.
Answered by JustCruz on December 13, 2022
A: All depends on where the cruise is going. US citizens on a closed loop cruise to WHTI compliant ports only need name matched proof of citizenship (like a Dept of Vital Statistics issued Birth certificate) and a government issued photo ID. If the name... s on those 2 documents don't match, copies of all name change papers must be on hand to show link.See More

A: Don't forget your certified birth certificate along with your license or state issued ID. have fun.
Answered by amstory1228 on October 16, 2023
A: you can not sail with just your drivers license. You will need a copy of your birth certificate with the raised seal! They will not except just a copy without the seal. It's always better to have a passport.
Answered by crusin4gramma on December 14, 2022
A: License and Birth Certificate or just a passport

A: yes each ship has laundromat s.They are located on different floors. They also sell detergent. Timing is everything.
Answered by donq on November 21, 2022
A: You can buy dry sheets of laundry detergent from Amazon. They are great to take so you don’t have to carry pods or Liquid and much cheaper than buying on ship
Answered by Marmitesails on November 21, 2022
A: There are usually on each cabin level - I bring a few pods and dryer sheets. Did laundry once near end of a cruise and it was busy! To me it was worth more to bring dirty stuff home than lose 4 hours at laundry room in the hallway. If you’d like t... o wash a few things to wear later in cruise, I suggest the laundry service once maybe halfway thru.See More

A: You have to be checked in and onboard 1hr before listed departure time. Carnival has to turn in a complete passenger list prior sailing.

A: The time you choose when you check in and choose the 30 minute window for your arrival appointment.
Answered by cbyron3 on September 29, 2022
A: Usually the terminal locks its doors 90 minutes prior to the scheduled sail away (so 2pm in your case). Passengers need to complete the physical security inspection and check-in 1hr prior to sail away (2:30pm for a 3:30 departure). Finally the new em... uster, must be logged in by a crew member at least 30 minutes prior to the ship leaving thr dock (3pm).See More
