Do not wear good clothes near the smokestacks! I had a brand new bathing suit and sun visor ruined from rusty ash spewing out of the smokestack.

The elevators were closed for awhile during embarkation and debarkation for moving the luggage around, it may be good to plan ahead (extra time, room placement, etc.) if you have mobility issues.

If you are looking for a quiet experience, don't bother with this ship. Carnival has made reductions in staff, food quality, and entertainment. I doubt we will ever cruise on Carnival again.

Carry on a small piece of luggage with extra clothes and underwear or any essentials you might need. My luggage was lost and hasn't been found.

There is not enough chairs to layout in the sun so get up early and go get your spots, otherwise you will be laying on the deck.
