Just take some time to wander around the ship to see where things are, then relax and have fun.

Tip #1: Don't miss the first "formal night" where you get Lobster tail included at dining room, and I believe Prime rib or filet mignon.Tip#2: If you want to "share" a table (in Your-Time dining) and meet some other cruiser(s), when you "check-in" to the dining room on the Carnival Hub app, there is a box you can check to "share" table.

Don’t miss the barbecue that’s up above the Lido deck , Sea day brunch is awesome. Relax and enjoy it’s just such a blessing to be back on a cruise ship

Level 8 is a good level to be on. Closer to the elevators would be ideal. Carnival Freeedom would be a good choice.
