This was our first cruise and we were not sure we'd enjoy cruising. It ended up being excellent for us. We got to visit 3 countries and left the cruise line take care of getting up there while we relaxed. We will cruise again.

Terrible cruise, horrible service worst cruise experience. Dirty pools, food was awful, staff didn’t seem to want to be there other than the late night MDR.

This was our first cruise. We will be sailing with Carnival again. We had the best time ever.

I’ve been on multiple cruises and typically enjoyed each one. I know that no vacation is perfect and cruises have their limitations. That being said, we really had to search for the silver linings. The food was truly atrocious and gave us food poisoning! Our travel day home was miserable! The staff is always a pleasure and worked hard to be friendly. But even they told us the cruise is overbooked and they were short staffed. I would not recommend booking this cruise on this ship. and even though I’ve had good carnival cruise experiences prior, this one was so bad that I will definitely not be booking through carnival again.

For our first cruise it was great, can't wait to go on another one in the near future.

Drink package is very expensive and I don't recommend purchasing it. Overall our experience was delightful! I do recommend Carnival Cruise line but make sure it's a newer boat in the fleet. Make sure you do your research before booking.

Great transatlantic cruise. It was an older crowd so we fit right in. There were several "journey" activities that only happen on longer Carnival cruises. For instance, my husband went head to head with Andy our CD in an ice cream eating contest (soft serve, no hands) and lost by a whisker. Enjoyed the more laid back vibe on the longer cruise.

This was our first of hopefully many cruises! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!

Celebrated a birthday and enjoyed each day on or off the ship.

My cruise experience was not the best ... as it was my honeymoon as well and it left me with a bad taste in my mouth . Now getting on the ship was very smooth ,but we didn't get our luggage until after 3pm ,which they said was gonna be at 1:30pm then my luggage came and my wheel off of my Brand new luggage was broken . I bought a hard case just for this trip specifically and it was ruined and carnival's remedy was to give me a luggage soft (not hard cased) or wait until I go home with a broken luggage and then file a claim that may take up to 30 days ,and that left me with no choice but to take what they had there because I did not want to take a chance and have any other wheels fall off because of the imbalances. Then I went to clear off balances the night before we docked and the representative was deducting multiple transactions put of my account although I asked her to hold on a minute while I transferred the amount. I said to her that my husband and I would split the bill in half what she did was deduct half from.my account and deduct smaller payments as well and also put the full balance of the bill on my husband's card . When I realized what she did I went to her she said "oh don't worry the amount will be released in the morning." Which my husband and I are still waiting for and we left the cruise on 01/20/2024 . This was not a great experience at all. The shore trips were all fun . We enjoyed those fully!!! I'm not sure if I will book again with carnival but that's left up to how they respond with the email I sent them.

BAD DUE TO MY ROOM WASN'T CLEAN!!!! THEY NEED TO CLEAN UP THIS SHIP AND DO SOME REMOLDING IT'S A OLD SHIP

Fun four days. Casino paid off nicely. It’s vacation and it’s what you make it!

Overall the cruise was great! We had fantastic time while enjoying the movie nights on the deck and other entertainment.

We had a wonderful time. Weather was perfect. Ship and staff were super. Love sailing with Carnival.

Do not recommend Carnival. Terrible organization getting on and off. Changed itineraries while cruising due to passenger medical emergency which is expected. Will not be back.

We won't travel with carnival again. They charge you for. Soda package but make it difficult to even get the soda... then no water is included in the package. We prefer other cruise lines over carnival. Not happy that the cruise line did not reimburse us for changing the port from grand turk to Bahamas... if we wanted to go to the Bahamas we would have chosen the Bahamas....

This was our first on the Freedom, we will cruise them again. We were pleased with all. When the maitre'd and chefs sits and chats with you, this is a ship that knows what they are doing.

This was our first 5 day cruise! We had a wonderful time! The views were beautiful. The islands were 10/10. And the service was wonderful! Every empress always in a good mood and so hospitable
