Review summary

Loved the cruise and hope to go on another one next year. We were very happy with Carnival. Really liked there embarking procedure. It was very much improved from the last carnival cruise that we took a few years ago. We were happy with the location of our stateroom. It was pretty quiet. Some members of our group complained that they had a lot of noise in there cabin. Enjoyed the entertainment, such as the Piano Bar and the Comedy Club, and activities on the lido deck. Our meals were high quality and our waiters Greggory and Edwin were fantastic. Had wonderful time in the ports, even thou they weren't the ports we were originally signed for. The third port wasn't enough time for the excursion to Tulum. I couldn't enjoy my time there. Mohagany bay ,Roatan and Belize were great.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
great. We got right on board the ship and didn't have to wait in any lines. Because we were with a large group, we were able to go right to our cabin. Our sign and sail card was already in our mailbox. I have been on several Carnival cruises and this was by far the easiest embarkation.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We ate mostly in the downstairs dining room. The service was good and the food excellent. The times we ate in the buffets the food was also good.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Our favorite place to go at night was the piano bar. My daughter also did the towel tying class and enjoyed the hot tubs.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
We were disappointed in the evening shows in the Victorian auditorium. I thought the past shows on Carnival where they brought in entertainment was better. We did enjoy the comedy club. John the piano man was fantastic and personable. The comedy club was fun.

Children's Programs

We had no children

Very nice for an inside cabin. Clean and comfortable. Nice stewards who did a beautiful job. I rate our cabin as excellent. I especially loved the towel animals.

It is amazing to be that the alternate ports were able to accommodate the small influx of ships (And some of the ships were not so small).
