Review summary

Had a few little bumps here and there, from us having to change our room due to the ships noise, to us having to wait 50 minutes after getting seated to get served food, but all in all we wouldn’t mind taking the Firenze again. It’s a beautiful ship with so many activities and events.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Husband got food poisoning on 4th night after going to Il Viaggio. Michelangelo Dining Room took over an hour each time, service was too slow and breakfast seemed the same as the lido but the lido served food cold.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
The pool was always too busy to enjoy. Did like the mini golf, and the arts& crafts special days.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Loved the comedy show. Joey was an excellent director. Enjoyed the stage shows.

Service and Staff

Nail Tech didn’t listen and just ignored me while I spoke to her, she seemed unhappy. Waiters were rude and very slow. The only okay service we had was from the room steward.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
The ship is extremely beautiful. Everything was very clean, except for the Lido Marketplace which had food smeared on the seats and floor.

Cabin / Stateroom

6509 is terrible and should never be booked. It is right above the club and has such loud music all night that the floor and walls shake. We were so happy that they could accommodate us switching rooms.

Ship tip

I would tell them to try to get up early to eat and disembark.

The sea shuttle was so bad, I got so seasick. The vendors at the port overpriced everything! Tried to sell me a hat for $30 that the cruise ship had for $10! Was unclear which line was which to get back onto the shuttle and some people waiter in a giant line that was meant for the other cruise ship.

Loved how we could set a time to disembark though the app and we got to disembark earlier than expected!
