Review summary
Very pretty ship. Excursions were very good. I probably will stay away from the 5 day cruises in the future based off what I saw. I wish the Terrazza section had a pool. That was my fault for thinking the Havana and Terrazza were the same. Andrea in the shops was wonderful. She helped us with our purchases and really very personable. Aldi and Erica were great in the specialty dining rooms. I have been cruising for the past 25 years and felt like you didn't get great service in the dining room unless you paid for a specialty dinner. That was a huge disappointment. Never asked if we wanted anything else to drink unless it was something from the bar. Menus should show the drinks that are available at no charge. I felt with the updated technology used on the boat, that although some parts are great, it really takes away from the personal interaction. The checking in for dinner was always chaotic. the app seemed to cause more confusion and people still waited in the halls. Good experience but missed the personal interaction with staff. With automatic tipping, you can tell folks don't go out of their way to provide great service. I may just end up trying a new cruise line. I have been cruising with Carnival for the past 15 years and I think it is time to try something different.Embarkation

Ship tip
Being in the Terrazza section, you have access to a continental breakfast in the Modo lounge. This is a very nice perk. No crowds.
