Review summary

Instead of being a cruise it felt like a nightmare. But kudos to Carnival for being so helpful in our medical emergency and afterward for following up not only when we were in hospital in St. Lucia but when we got back to US hospital as well.

Just got on ship from here. Were to stay overnight on return to port but husband ill and left ship in St. Lucia

Did easy excursion but hubby still not well so he just sat on shuttle entire time. The guide, Kestro, was excellent. Lots of damage to rainforest from hurricane last year.

Did short trip to Pirate's Cove without husband. Was told by PC rep that snorkle gear was included. It was not. Only shared umbrella & lounge chair. Water was beautiful. I walked back to ship.

Castries, St. Lucia

Husband transferred by ambulance to St Lucia Tapion hospital. Medical staff on board ship very thorough and kind. Although there for 4 days only got to see hospital before air evacuated to Florida. Island doctors and nurses were wonderful and what I could see of island from windows was beautiful. I would like to return under different circumstances. This was the end of our cruise.
