DO NOT TRAVEL on this ship! if you do, make sure you do not need to interact with Guest services, do not want to get drinks faster than 30 minutes, and have no intention of enjoying yourself at all!

If you opt for an inside stateroom be sure to set an alarm. With the lights off it is easy to lose track of time altogether.

Be nice to the crew. It is amazing what they can do for you. All that you need to do is talk to them and smile. I received some perks normally reserved for elite guests, just because I was friendly to the crew. These guys and girls live on the ship for 6 months, away from homes and family.

Even if you don't think you want to get off to buy anything...it is worth getting off the ship and exploring. At the very least you will make a new friend! Also, when making friends on board, ask if they have ever been on that ship or port. They might have great tips

Bring a bag that zips to carry all of your stuff and souvenirs. When you come back to the ship, you'll have to go through customs again. Our bag didn't close all the way, and I think I may have lost a shirt I bought. This happened to our roommate too, but thankfully guest services had picked it up.

We tried to go to the Public Beach next to Atlantis on our own, we choose not to after seeing a large number of men standing at the entrance It just didn't feel safe. I suggest if you want to go to the beach, buy the excursion.

I highly recommend going to the Hilton Colonial for a day pass, during your stop in Nassau. It was a beautiful beach, just a short walk from the pier. The food was great, and it was beautiful. It made for my favorite part of the cruise!

For shore excursions, you can do a self guided walking tour in Bahamas and you can still have fun. Paying for unique stuff like swimming with Sting Rays or cultural tour is fine. However don't waste your money doing anything you could have done in America.

Don't stay in an inside cabin. Ship is tired. Food - especially dining room is great - ports are not safe or exciting - we went to Key West since weather was bad in Nassau - Key West rained all morning but was gorgeous in afternoon. Wish we had stayed there as when we arrived at Nassau the next

Don't. If you do, don't do the bicycle excursion. Mikey is a wonderful person and full of nice historical information, but there is really nothing much to see.
