Review summary

The ship itself is ok. It served its purpose of a fun party-barge, for a girls' weekend. The staff and food were excellent.  Our cabin was simple and a bit outdated, but that didn't bother us at all.  The young people in the show were great!  Honestly, the only complaint I would have would be the other cruisers.  There were some really rude people.  It was interesting to me the crowd that this cruise attracted...a number of whom were manner-less and downright crude. It was fine for a girls' weekend.  We can handle it.  But, I would never bring my children on this cruise, and I'm not sure my husband would have enjoyed it either.

Clean, but outdated.

Cabin / Stateroom

It was fine...outdated, but it served its purpose. We didn't spend a ton of time in there. It was clean and nice sized.

Ship tip

I highly recommend going to the Hilton Colonial for a day pass, during your stop in Nassau. It was a beautiful beach, just a short walk from the pier. The food was great, and it was beautiful. It made for my favorite part of the cruise!

I have found cruising when school is in session is the best! I always let me kiddo miss a day or two like in December.... I despise going in April or may!

6440707, just because a cruise is "cheap" does mean it's full of "rude people".

ya know, I think bad passengers are the one thing a cruise line can't control and the greatest thing to detract from a cruise. I'm sorry that happened. unlike other bad reveiws people can't challenge this one. I sail on the elation this Thursday ( March 2) I've met some people on my cruise thru chat and roll call....looks like I'll have a better experience

I've never encountered quite that many rude people. Now and then though wherever I go. So sorry you experienced that though. I really am. I've been on many, many Carnival cruises and really love cruising with them. I've been on 1 RC cruise and I find RC is more for the older crowd and kind of snooty, but that's just my opinion. To each his own

My BFF (who is a die hard Disney fan) and I went on a 7 day trip on the Breeze. She commented that the people on the ship were happier than those in the Magic Kingdom! Sorry you ran into some rude ones but I've never experienced that.

I have cruised a few times, always carnival, I think the people on board and the type of people you get depends on 1. The duration of the cruise, 2. The time of year, and some other factors. I have never had a bad experience. But on my 4 day cruise, I noticed the people left something to be desired. I don't think at all that it's carnival. Glad y'all had fun!
