Review summary

This was a fun cruise. The food was a little disappointing to me but who can really complain when there's an all-you-can-eat buffet? The rocking on this ship was the absolute worst I have ever experienced. I understand the winds were rough, but surely something can be done to steady that vessel. Also, the organization of exiting the ship for excursions needs to be addressed. My group had the faster to fun pass but this had no impact on us exiting the ship faster than anyone else. Leaving the ship when we pulled back in to the home port was also a mess. Needless to say, I did enjoy myself because of the company I was with, but there are some areas to improve for Carnival.

Oh gosh. This is my number one fear. The boat causing sea sickness. I hope the waters are calm. My doctor said the ship should be large enough and that the waters to the Bahamas are relatively smooth

Kevin is the best!!! I was on the Elation the week of February 20, and we had rough waters too (rough enough to cancel Half Moon Cay!)

If you get FTTF again, it only gives you priority to disembark on tender ports, and disembark day. Not when it pulls into a port/dock.

You were on the Elation! One of the smallest ships, trust me go on a bigger one, during April through the end of May. Pray you have no wind (God forbid) and you'll be fine. But wait, there may be over 3,900 passengers so you won't get off the boat any faster....

The one common denominator in all cruise lines is the waves in the ocean. Bigger ships and stabilizers help but they are all subject to physics. A floating object is going to move.
