Not sure we will be back by MelissaC7

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Elation / Destination: Mexico

The customer service on the ship was very poor. The employees were talking bad about one another and I was yelled at because I was taking an elevator that was off limits and was given a horriable look from one of the ships two employees and this was only the first night on board. The ship was not to clean either.

The ship was excellent. We would consider to come back again in the future. We had been on other ship in the past but your ship was excellent. We enjoy the time staying there.

A great cruise by AT570

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Carnival Elation / Destination: Mexico

I recently went on the cruise ship Elation with my son and 2 sisters and their 3 sons. It was like nothing I have ever done before and it was something I will remember forever. The ship was extremly clean and the employees were always cleaning something. The food was awsome it was everywhere all the time and all you can eat . The ship was cold though. Our excursion was to Ensenada Mexico a very nice place to see we took the bus to LaBufadaora and saw the blow hole there is only 3 in the world and I saw one it was very neat. the entertainment was great we got tosee a hypnotist it was pretty cool we also saw a lasvegas style show. the checking in process was kind of long but well worth it I would tell anyone that this is a great cruise for the money

A dream come true! by JulianK

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Elation / Destination: Mexico

This was my first cruise ever. It was a lot more than what I expected. It was the best vacation I have had because there was everything in one; shows, pools, restaurants, entertainment. You don't get all of this when you go on a regular vacation to Hawaii or anywhere else. I loved the tours in Catalina and Ensenada. The crew and everybody was super friendly. It was overall an excellent experience.

As a first time cruiser, I think this is a great cruise to start with. i now know what I like and don't like about cruising so I can book my next cruise and know exactly what to look for. the price was right and I had a great time.

A great honeymoon, now back to reality! by AT376

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Elation / Destination: Mexico

This was my first cruise and I am delighted to say my husband and I had a great time. We choose to cruise in a relax mode (we were honeymooning) and did the lay out in the sun thing(well the little that was out) and take in some shows which were great. I must say that we had the most fun on our last day, the dance contest was a blast. I strongly recommend this ship for all. We will take the 7 days cruse next time though.

A very nice cruise by ArlineM

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Carnival Elation / Destination: Mexico

I have been on Carnival cruises once before some years ago and did not like it as much as other lines such as Holland or the Princess lines. This particular Carnival ship, however, was quite an improvement over the one I took a couple of decades ago and I have certainly changed my mind about Carnival. The courteous and attentive staff, and the fact that there was diversity in the ages and mix of passengers are a definite plus.

best 1st cruise by DanielleL3

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends

Stu did a great job with the entertainment, and all of the service we received was great. My only request would be a better dj for the night dance club, we heard the same playlist every night.

A fun ship by AngeliaB

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Elation / Destination: Mexico

I would recommend this ship, especially to younger people or to those who love to gamble and drink (that was a lot of what this ship had). We, however, do not drink or gamble, but still had fun. There were many activites to do, a huge waterslide on the ship, and good food. The rooms were kept very clean all day long and they always leave you a cute little towel animal. The shore excursion we did off the ship was good and I felt like the ship really thinks the guest is king (treats them very well).

The best trip you can ever take by TarekA

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Carnival Elation / Destination: Mexico

This was a great trip, the ship was amazing and its like a 24 hour party, every corner and every floor has a show or some kind of activity, i could not believe one ship can have so many, the hypnosis show was amazing and all the restaurants were so tasty, the staff are so nice and kind, i will miss them the most. The waiter sing for you on the dining table and the clubs all open late at night and are full of people that are having fun, i advise you to go and prepare to gain 5 ib.

OMG "OH MY GOD" by TildaG

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Elation / Destination: Mexico

I have been on many cruises and always asked my husband to come with me. His response was always the same. NO THANK YOU! I would tell him how much fun we always have when we go on a cruise, he was never interested. He would say "I like vacationing on land and not on the water" This spring my husband gave in and decided to try a cruise with just him and I. It was my responsibility to make sure he had a good time. The day of the cruise we were ready, we walked on the ship and did all our security duties. Later on when the ship was ready to sail, the ship started to move, the horn was blowing, people were waving as we were slowly moving away from land. The wind was blowing the sky was blue. Well, that first day "My job was done" . I didn't have to worry any longer. My husband was so excited. He looked at me and said he was so excited. He knew he was going to enjoy our vacation on the ocean. We had great food, entertainment was wonderful and the employees treated us like Kings and Queens. If you haven't been on a cruise I promise you, you will have a great time, ask my husband. Tilda
