Review Summary

I would recommend this ship, especially to younger people or to those who love to gamble and drink (that was a lot of what this ship had). We, however, do not drink or gamble, but still had fun. There were many activites to do, a huge waterslide on the ship, and good food. The rooms were kept very clean all day long and they always leave you a cute little towel animal. The shore excursion we did off the ship was good and I felt like the ship really thinks the guest is king (treats them very well).

Ship Experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Dining room food was the best; options for other meals was pretty good; options for snacks in between meals was ok (don't worry, you will NOT go hungry!). They have a Mongolian stir-fry station that was really great, a good salad bar, many diet options (although, I am not sure why you would go on a cruise and eat diet food!), and the dining room was nice.

There were good options for adult only entertainment and some for those of us with not-so-dirty minds. A lot of dancing options, too. The shows were a bit cheesy, though, in performers and production.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Everyone is very friendly everywhere on the ship!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Cleanliness is the best......layout and accessiblility are a little confusing (but you will figure it out by the time you leave!)

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Very clean and a decent size. We got the room with a window and loved it! I highly recommend getting a room with a window!

Ports Of Call

Ensenada, Mexico

3 out of 5
This is our second (and probably last) time to Ensenada. They are trying to keep the downtown area clean and presentable, but there are still so many poor people begging for money and pushy shopkeepers. If you go, I recommend doing a guided tour to be safe and get the most out of it. We did the Taste of Mexico Shore Excursion and really liked it. We got a tour and then got a cooking class and got to prepare our own food at a really good restaurant in town. If you want to make sure you dont' get sick on the food, this is a great excursion to do.
Don't Miss: See the flag and do the Taste of Mexico Shore Excursion

Pros: The rooms were very clean and always kept that way

Cons: They are not very clear about when things happen alot

Recommends Carnival Elation? Yes!
