The ship was very nice & modern. The staff was very friendly & outgoing. The food was wonderful & the entertainment was great.

This was my first cruise...but it will not be my last. There was something to do for all ages at all times.

The ship was very clean except for one particular lounge. Although activities seemed limited due to relatively small ship, the advantage was that it was also relatively quiet and relaxing.

I have taken cruises on Norwegian, Holland America, and Royal Carribean. Carnival did not live up to my expectations in a cruise. I found everything to be somewhat subpar to what I've been used to on other ships. However, you get what you pay for, so if you want a cheap cruise the price is right.

This ship is very old with tacky decor. The food was very poor and no enforcement of clothing in deck resaturant. You would go to sit down and the seat would be wet due to people coming directly from the pool with no shirts, shoes, or wet bathing suites and sitting at the table next to you. It was very disrespectful.

This was my first cruise. We had an enjoyable trip with excellent service. If you can, I recommend one of the rooms that includes VIP status. The VIPs bypass the boarding line and get on board quickly. We prefer the flexability of "anytime seating" for dinner rather than the rigid schedule of assigned time for dinning.

The ship was always clean, the crew was excellent. Had a wonderful time. Would said this ship again.

This was our first seven day cruise and it won't be last. The food was wonderful. The service was above par. We had the smalllest room on the ship, but it was more than adequate.

Food was poor quality all around. Chateau Briand was dry and tasteless. Rushed in the early seating. Food in buffet too spicy, and not enough to choose from...Much better on past cruises. Strong smell of urine in ladies room nearest Casino. Casino machines were terrible for the amount we spent. 'Everyone was complaining so it was not just our opinion.

This was our first time on the Carnival Elation but 4th time on a cruise. We choose this ship because of where it ported out of - Mobile because we could make the drive to the port - the closest to us - 11 hrs. The port is very easy to get in and out. The ship itself was nice. Staff friendly and helpful. However, my daughter had helped someone that had fallen in a bathroom stall - she was able to get into the stall with the person. A carnival staff person could not - the staff was friendly but never appreciated the help. Also another staff person acted like they could not even come into the bathroom. When there is an emergency you go in. Maybe they are not trained but that is still not an excuse. Our Room Stewart and waitor was very accomindating. Kept our room clean and ice available for us. A+ rating for her and him!!

The stateroom staff are excellent and deserve alot of credit. The Lido buffet is the best. Being from South Louisiana, I have to say that the main dining room can use some help in preparing food.

All I can say is WOW! My wife and I both had a wonderful time.

Very nice ship, but over crowded.

The ship was very well maintained. The colors were poorly choosen, but that is my only complaint. The staff was wonderful!! The activites were great. The food was amazing. They truly seem to try their best to give you a great vacation.

The ship was very nice and very clean. Most of the staff was friendly and funny. They made it a pleasurable experience.

Older ship but had no major issues. Made it to both ports. Rocky waters at times but no more than have experienced in the past.
