I dont recommend this ship for people bringing young children When i brought kids to child care program they were upset amd staff Told me they were too disruptive and had to leave because they were Crying (age 3 and 4). They didnt try to console them at all. Also Elevators were not working numerous times. Food was good with spacious Seating.

I do not recommend this ship for senior adults.

I got very lost on the first day was trying to figuring out where I was but because I was excited to get there, that was small and other people helped me. Overall rating is good because I was SO happy to be on vacation and I won at the casino!!

The entire cruise was excellent!!!!! The food, service, all of it!

Overall great experience. We had our two kids (8 & 11) with us and they thoroughly enjoyed the Camp Carnival activities. Food service was a little slow for dinner but food quality was better than average In the main dining room. Ship does appear a little worn but still seems very clean.

The Elation is beautiful, extremely clean, lots of space for adults and kids. My husband and I loved the different areas that would be frequently visit.

The ship was reasonably clean and the cabins were nice. The food was poor and the variety limited. The bands were fine but played music that was incompatible with dancing.

i was very surprised how big and comfortable our room was. everything was so clean. i loved the shower! i was also surprised how well we slept. i was disappointed in how loud the music was .

This was our second cruise and the ship by far much better. The whole 5 days we were on the ship not once did they have to shut the pool down because some kids/parents can't keep the unpotty trained kids out of the water. I loved the fact that they did not keep the ship very cold...except for the evening dinning hall but that is expected. Thoughout the day you can walk around the ship and not have to worry about freezying. I loved the food for breakfast as well as the lunch and snacks. I would like to see more options for the dinner. Elegant night was awsome and just all in all we had younge kids all the way upto senior citizens and everyone enjoyed the cruise. Nice quite places throughout the ship to just relax and read a book! I would go again and again and would highly recommand the Carnival Elation. Our first ship was the Carnival Holiday, which no longer exists. For the price this was a great cruise. i would love to have just couple of more wall outlest to charge all the eletronics we all have these days!

Wasn't expecting such a great vacation from an older boat and a so called "budget" cruiseline such as Carnival. Had read a few reviews before we went on our trip and was a little concerned. The concerns went away after the 1st day. The ship was in great shape and the food was absolutely wonderful. The service was great as is expected on a cruise and some of the entertainment was quite good. Some was pretty corny though but the casino was always available at night. Kids had a fun time with the many activities (13 & 16). Got a little tired of the constant pressure to buy something - pictures, specialty drinks, excursions, etc. Beer prices were way too high on the ship, but managed to get my fill at the ports!

Good time. The staff were very polite and helpful especially the waiting staff in the restaurant. The salt water pool was also very relaxing.

This was our very first cruise and we are hooked from here on out to cruising. The service and staff were great! We loved the entertainment especially the last night when they had a private party booked with a band from Louisiana called 5th ave who they allowed the public to join in.

The ship was very clean, plenty of activities (although the scheduled activities were not always offered).

I can say anything but to say thank you Elation.

The Elation is a very good ship. Not the biggest but very good. We had a suite with a large balcony so I know we got spoiled with that. This ship has less balconies than other Carnival ships. The Jr Suites are the size of balcony cabins on other ships. The Grand Suites are very large. Other guests told us that the regular cabins are large compared to other ships.

ship was clean. Service was excellent. I cant say i would change much at all.

Very nice experience overall, exellent food, ship exeptionally clean with crew working hard 24/7 to please. Very good entertaiment,loved to listen Tommy Green Jr. performing,it was like free concert everyday.It was our first cruise so we paid excursion to national park in Cozumel-pretty expensive, now I know Icould do the same for much less. Overall it was great, will repeat it in the future
