Our impression of the ship was that it was a great ship with a great staff. Everyone was extremely nice & helpful. Definitely would love to do again and again.

we celebrate sweet 16th of my daughter's surprise birthday.but everything so nice peoples service was so good.so make a plan to go.

Very pleased with Elation - although we heard this is an older ship it is in great condition, very clean and well maintained. Our room was bigger then we thought it was going to be and we enjoyed the animal towels every day. Food was great - loved the sit down dining every evening - made several new friends! The shows were so good too!

It was a nice ship but I felt like it needed more activities.

I have gone on 2 prior cruises. I don't recommend this cruise because the service and quality were poor, the food was really poor, there were large crowds drinking and smoking, the constant selling of drinks, pictures, spa services was also irritating. We were not able to relax.

Very limited available activities during the day.

My husband and I had planned this vacation 7 months in advance anticipating the sail date. It was our first vacation without our children but was not an experience I'd consider memorable. When we made port in Progresso, the Carnival employees directed us to a local bar that they indicated was close and SAFE. In fact, one they'd recommened to many of the carnival cruisers. While at this bar with my husband, the host/waiter placed what I would equate to the "date rape drug" in my drink. Shortly thereafter he attempted to sexually assault me. After this drug wore off we contacted Carnival to provide a verbal complaint. After being transferred several times, the Carnival representative's response was that despite the fact their employee recommended the local bar the only way they could have guaranteed our safety in Mexico would have been if we'd paid for and taken a Carnival excursion. We will NEVER cruise again with Carnival and will not be recommending anyone to cruise with Carnival.

The cabins were very clean. The towel animals in the state room w/mints were a nice touch. Showers were great. Comedy shows had good material. I thought the minature golf should have been free. All in all, it was very relaxing. The evening dining was great except for the frog legs.

would choose another ship to sail next time. Not our favorite ship after six sailings. However do plan to sail again in the future.

We were very dissapointed in our room. We walked into room and there was a towel covered with someone's toothpaste from wiping their mouth. there was a pair of women's dirty underpants under our bed. we did not get what we ordered from room service. ship was dirty. it is not the crew's fault. it was the passengers who were so disrepectful for someone elses property. I felt like we were on the lowest of the lowest cruise lines. Hambugers everyday in the Lido deck..really got old.

Elation is not as big as I like them the bigger they are the better the ride I think.

The ship needs refurbished.

Was our first cruise, we really loved the expiernece, the crew/staff were outstanding, looking forward to another crusie with Carnival

Very good trip!

This was my first cruise, so we opted with the Carnival Elation based on price in case we were not big fans of a cruise. We had a group of four women, three of whom had never cruised. For the price, this is a good cruise for a first timer to get your feet wet.
