The passion island excursion in Cosumel Mexico was nice. It was a good much needed brake from the cold weather. Plus you're not bothered by venders. The only bad thing I can say about Carnival is they need to change up the menu. We cruise every 6 months and the food is always the same.

This was my 3rd cruise with Carnival. I was disappointed at the beginning as there was a fiasco regarding parking accomodations. The food was not as good as I remembered and the whole experience was somewhat disappointing

Our family recently planned a cruise for my 88 year old grandmother. The entire trip was very disappointing. When we arrived to board the cruise there was not enough parking and our family was seperated and rushed through the boarding process. It took us over an hour and a half to get parking, which caused much stress. The security was very rude when we entered the boarding process. The food was very disappointing everyday. We have been on over 8 cruises collectively as a family and the food was the worst. I felt as if I was eating at a Sizzler or Ponderosa everyday. The staff was friendly for the most part, but the entertainment was also very disappointing. I paid $85 dollars for pictures which was ridiculous, these were memories for my grandmother to keep. The amount of money that was spent on the 4-day cruise and I could have went on an all-inclusive trip for a week. If I cruise again in the future, which I do not plan to do, it will not be with Carnival.

The Elation is a wonderful ship to cruise on. This was our third cruise with the Carnival Group of ships. The crew is very hard working. The dining room staff go out of their way to make meal time first rate.

We had a wonderful time. The people we met on day one at dinner were GREAT. I think we had the GREATEST table ever!!! They all made our trip more enjoyable. New friends and lots of memories. Our cabin was just perfect and our cabin steward was amazing. He kept his eye on my teenage son. All in all, it was just down right AWESOME!!!! Can't wait to go again.

Could have been eating hospital food and not known the difference. Plus tacky presentation and not good service. Lack of good entertainment. need to have non-smoking gaming tables in casino. Cabin staff helpful and very friendly.

we had a grate time,the food wasto die for. every one was friendley and very helpfull, eeven the people who washed the windows and swept the floor. they were always cleaning. the ship was very purty.loved the experance!

A great cruise for New Year's. Disappointed in the lack of Vegas style shows, but the comedian was exceptional. Never had to wait for dinner seating in restaurant and love being waited on.

The ship was nice. There were alot of activities to choose from but not that much for adults who didnt go into the casino after 8pm. There need to be more shows. The food was excellent with plenty of varity to choose from. However, the waiters were a little push when they kept coming by to ask you to purchase a drink.

Thiis was our first long cruise. We were impressed overall. We plan to cruise again. There were activities galore. The ship was beautiful. The gourmet dining was A++ and the wait-staff were extremely courteous.

The ship was amazing! I loved the coziness of the Romeo & Juliet Lounge, the fun fill of the Jeckyl & Hyde club, the decore of all the other facilities as well! this was my first time as a V.I.P traveler and booking a suite for my accommodations and let me tell you, it was truly MAGNIFICENT!!!! I am going to always try and book a suite because it is the only way to travel for me from now on!!! Thank you Elation for suite U-73, it was SURPERB!!!

This was our 1st cruise. We were celebrating our 14th wedding anniversary. It was the MOST enjoyable vacation we have taken. The staff was very friendly & helpful when we needed. The shows were very entertaining. We especially enjoyed karoake. We highly enjoyed the food. It was amazing! The variety of food available was great also. We are already talking about our \"next\" cruise. Ha ha It will definitely be with Carnival. A friend recommended them & she has already taken 3 with them. I have already recommended them to 6 of my friends! Thanks for a wonderful anniversary that will not be forgotten!

Ship is well kept up and the crew was super friendly every where.

This was our first cruise and the overall trip exceeded our expectations. Carnival knows how to create a great vacation opportunity and experience. Staff were friendly and were there to create a warm welcome environment.

The ship was very loud. There was no place other than your cabin that you could go and have quiet. The area around the pool was so loud that you could not speak to your companion. Nearly every activity we went to to tried to go started late. At least one activity we tried to go to didn't even happen as no staff from Carnival showed up.

This was the second Carnival cruise I have been on, and I was not too impressed with the Elation. The ship itself was kept up well, and the staff was very friendly and attentive, but the food was absolutely sub-par. I remember my last cruise having 5-star meals in the dining room, and the buffets being very satisfying. This food, however, was the opposite. The meals prepared in the dining room were small and bland, and I felt like I was eating from a high school cafeteria elsewhere. Eggs were all instant and tasteless, not too mention runny. One day they served the same thing on the buffet line as was being served in the dining room. Also they closed down breakfast 30 mins early another day, which left us without any. The only decent food seemed to be the desserts and the stir fry line. The "Vegas-style" shows were ok, but cheesy and lackluster also. One thing I enjoyed were the comedy shows. They had 2 comedians on board, and shows every night. 2 family friendly shows and 2 adult shows, and they were all excellent. Overall, it was an inexpensive way to get out on the water, but I'll look at other cruise ships in the future.

I wish it just sailed to Cozumel and stays for two days. Progresso Mexico is a dump and you just don't have enough time in port

From the booking, the embark/debark process, the activities, the service, and the food selections...EVERYTHING was perfect!

Ship although small is clean and well maintained
