Definitely great for bargain seekers who aren’t as concerned about the quality of food and/or service. Disappointed with this Carnival cruise compared to the last one we took; but, we think post-COVID recovery is still in process.

This was my husband and I 1st cruise. Needless to say we are hooked and planning on going on our second cruise in June this year. Phenomenal experience and hate I waited so late to try.

Overall was a great cruise. No WiFi and no good adult only areas are really my only complaint. Was a good getaway trip!

We were so looking forward to this cruise after several years of staying home due to Covid. We especially enjoyed Half Moon Cay, Bahamas. It was beautiful! The food on the island was very good also. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and were pleased with Carnival’s health protocols to keep us all safe. We look forward to cruising with Carnival soon.

Aside from the unexpected issues with getting my 4 year old cleared to fort on the ship it was a pretty great experience. My 3 teenage sons found plenty to keep them busy onboard and my husband, myself, and our 2 friends had a great time aside from trying to keep the 4 year old entertained. The excursions were wonderful and the memories are priceless! If not for the issues with childcare for my youngest and having to purchase Carnival excursions for her to be permitted to leave the boat it would have been perfect.

So windy I got sick day 2 and did not enjoy the rest of the cruise. Very disappointed as this was my first cruise. I wish I’d had the patch. This is not Carnivals fault of course.

It was a great cruise, but it could honestly have been better.

We did not buy any excursions but still had a good time. Key West had shops, bars and restaurants close to the ship. Half Moon Cay was just a beach, that's all there is to do really. They wait until the smaller ship is full before transporting to/from cruise ship. Freeport we had some rain, so I'm glad we didn't book excursions or take a taxi to the beach. It's very industrial. We decided to stay on the Dream after buying souvenirs. Nassau was great, we took a taxi to the Paradise Beach near the casino and we bought drinks and chips from the locals who brought it to our chairs. The port was under construction so there was a longer walk to get to the straw market. There were 2 days of sailing to return to Galveston, but it was warm enough to let the kids use the slides for a few hours. The 2 magician shows I saw at the theater were really terrible grumpy old men. The kids like Deal or No Deal. Bingo is a waste of money. The casino was miserly. The arcade was okay, all games cost $1 or more to play. A kid uses their room key to play a game, some kids spent a ton of money there. The onboard shops have some good deals at the end of the trip! To use the Bubbles pass, the children had to go up to bartenders and ask for drinks. They felt grown up. Some were too shy to do it on their own. The wifi sucks. The app they make you use sucks. Remember to set your phone clock to ship time or you will miss appointments. Only 2 hot tubs worked.

Nice cruise. Cruise director MarQ was awsum and the reef in Belize is a must see.

Enjoyed every minute to relax. I lead an incredibly busy life so I choose to be a sloth for the cruise. Amazing

The Dream is a beautiful ship, and the ports of call Costa Maya, Belize, and Cozumel were wonderful! We enjoyed our excursions. We loved the piano bar each night, too!

The ship was very clean. It was very, very nice to be able to be in the casino and not come out smelling of smoke. We've been on several ships where the smoke from the casino permeated into other parts of the Promenade and made staying in those areas difficult for us that don't smoke. It was really pleasant to be able to stay in the casino more and gamble. I hope they make this a permanent change.

The cruise itself was nice. Only negatives were the quality of the food and the filthy windows. I was embarrassed for my cousins who had never cruised Carnival before.

Staff was friendly. The ship can benefit from a detail cleaning and the drinking water had an awful taste.

Really enjoyed this cruise. Lots of entertainment on the ship to keep busy and enjoy. Staff was great. And the cruise ship did not seem crowded which was a big plus. Enjoyed the ports. Missed not being able to stop in Key West, one of the initial planned ports.

The Dream doesn't have a lot of the activities on other ships like a ropes course but I found enough to do on this eight day cruise. The service was great and I greatly enjoyed my first time in the Bahamas.

We had a great time! We like to celebrate our anniversary and my birthday by taking a cruise together every year and Carnival always makes it special for us. We made the mistake of sailing with Royal Caribbean last time and we felt like a number. This has never been the case with Carnival. The crew was excellent the ship was great and the ports were fun. Looking forward to the next one on the Jubilee.

Wonderfully relaxing trip. Will definitely travel with Carnival again. All staff were friendly and helpful, ready and eager to serve.
