This cruise was pretty much as expected.  Since it was at Thanksgiving, I expected lots of kids running around and there was.  As a senior citizen, it is not my ideal cruise environment but for a family cruise this was the time all could go because school has to be in recess (Teacher and Student in the Family).  The ship is very large and lots of passengers, everywhere was pretty crowded except the library.  I did not attempt to use the pool.  Knowing that I was going into the cruise with lots of families, I enjoyed myself being with my family.  All of us had different likes so daytime everyone did their own thing and we came together at dinner.  This was a good choice with ages from 60s to teens in the family.

Our maid was really nice  and respectful.  The  refrigerator  in our  room was out the whole week,  and we had  to put our things in an ice chest. The air conditioner  was reported  twice for  not working. Was told we were going to get a fan but never received  one.  I feel I should  be  reimbursed  for the discomfort. 

My favorite part was the ports. Lots and lots of fun. I was disappointed in the staff and attitude of many staff members. Especially the Cruise Director Jase. I found him to be arrogant and obnoxious. It seemed as though many crew members were hard working and doing their best to make the experience enjoyable while others stood around with their better than attitudes. I don't find condescending to "guests" entertaining. I will definitely chose another cruise line or at least another Carnival ship. I would not recommend this cruise to anyone who expected to be treated with respect.

This was my first time cruising and I really enjoyed every aspect of the cruise.  My favorite part of the cruise had to be our wait staff (Arnel and I Putu) and the entertainment in the annex room of  the Crimson Dinning room.  They went above and beyond with their service.  Also, the daily activities (comedy clubs, shows, competition events) all were well planned.  The ports visited were Montego Bay Jamaica, where we visited family and conquered Dunn's Rivers Falls; Grand Cayman, which was hot as hell; and Cozumel Mexico, which I loved the most and was able to snorkel for a fraction of the price if I had booked through the cruise line. 

What could be improved...camp carnival.

I would definitely recommend this cruise to everyone who needs some time to get away and have fun.

This was my first cruise on a Carnival ship and I loved every minute of it. I thought they were well organized from beginning to end. I booked an inside room this time and it was okay. Plenty of storage. Our twin beds were not configured correctly, but we lived with it, no problem. Service was great. I missed having a coffee pot in my room but room service was quick and reliable. We enjoyed every tour we signed up for through Carnival. I'll take a cruise with Carnival every chance I get.k

There were many great parts of the cruise, but I have to complement the dining staff in the choose your own time dining, specifically Volodymyr!!!  He was incredible, predicted our every need, remembered us and called us by name, and honestly gave us the best service we have EVER had.  This guy and his team, Nikola, Arlianty, and I Kommang were a winning combination.  Everyone was incredibly warm and friendly, and were delightful to talk with and get to know.  Their work was incredible, and we looked forward to seeing them every night.  Volodymyr was just the best and we requested his section every time!  The service was truly impeccable.  

The value for the ship was great, and we had truly an amazing experience.  We will be repeat cruisers with Carnival in the future!!

Everything was wonderful. Had so much fun. Our waiter Alfred and his team we absolutely great!!!.. awesome food, great staff meeting new friends.......It doesn't get any better than that!!!

Very displeased with cruise as a plantinum member. Crew was below stamdard. Formal dining staff was horrible. Glass was empty and continued to as for water refill. Didnt check on dinner status. never went back after 2nd night. Room stewart had to be reminded to do room twice a day. Hardly saw him and hardly spoke when we did see him. PIXELS just plain SUCKED. No package deals rather a poke dot card for buying single pictures. NEVER ALLOWED THEM TO TAKE PIXTURES AFTER THAT SINCE PIC WERE SOLD AS INDIVIDUAL AND NOT PACKAGES. Really worst cruise EVER

the ship is very nice! we appreciated the staff,the shows,the musicians,the comedians......we went with friend and cousin, all 4 loved it...we even did the cat in the hat breakfast....filet mignon and eggs,yummy...great cruise been on 16 cruises. dont know if it was the best, but it was great!

I love the Carnival Dream.  It is a beautiful and fun ship.  The staff were very focused on keeping the ship clean and pristine and seeing to the needs and desires of the guests.  The food was delicious and delectable.  I enjoyed the ports of call and days of sight seeing and exploring.   

I enjoyed all the entertainment, but the Veterans Day Celebration was my favorite and made me feel that the crew and staff were very patriotic and proud of America.  The presidential election was on the 8th of November and Donald Trump was elected president of the US.  All persons on board celebrated and rejoiced that we had a new president and one that promises change and prosperity for the US. 

I would like to see the Karaoke Club hours extended and arrange for  the guests with the late dinner seating being able to sign up for singing.  On this cruise, the sign up sheet was filled by the guests with the early seating.  I was traveling with friends who enjoy Karaoke.       

Everything was great. The family ,the fun, the food, the service.  We enjoyed it all. We love to cruise. Time goes by way too fast. The trip was way too short...lol Look forward to traveling again with this group. We made so many wonderful memories

Great ship great crew, lots of sun and pool time. It was a good way to lay back and do as little or as much as you want to do. getting on and off the ship at ports is easy. 

Favorite part of the cruise were the activities.  The charges on the sail and sign account were hard to follow.  I found I ended up spending more than I budgeted. Lines to guest services, kiosk, and food lines were long.  Lines to get off the ship to the islands were long-should have staggered times to get off the ship.  Did not like the fact that you have to purchase cheers program for all guests over 21 in stateroom especially when you don't drink.  Sodas should have been more accessible.  Utilize the cups with chips to access drinks rather than have to wait in line at the bar for a soda. 

This was a great cruise! My husband and I brought his brother and sister-in-law, and my sister along on this cruise. My husband and I have traveled many times on Carnival, but this was the first time for the others. A lot of memories were made on this trip!

Our balcony staterooms were fantastic, and we were all able to be within a couple of doors from each other, so very convenient  for meeting up with each other when getting together for dinner, or going to the pool, entertainment, etc...

The music was great and we enjoined participating in the line dances with the staff! 

Dinners were amazing, as our head waitress was very personable and was always excited for our return to her table. 

Also, we enjoyed the entertainment in the Encore theater, which was very versatile; song and dance productions, country music production, and comedy and juggling!

Can't wait to go again!

The handicap suite was well serving , the crew & service was awesome !would have liked more entertainment !It was overall very relaxing ! Iwill hopefully get to do another cruise one day soon !Enjoy late fall & early spring cruises !

Every adventure that I undertook was very interesting and fun.  MY wife really enjoyed herself too.  Trivia games,Showtime,Games on stage, were very exciting. She even won aShip on a stick as a contestant on stage.  We celebrated our 55th wedding anniversary on this cruise.

The crew in every area of the cruise was as friendly as could be.  It cruise line is watching their bottom line so hard that there are several areas that were disappointing.  We have been cruising since 1982 at an average of 1 or 2 cruises a year.  This cruise was be at the bottom of fun.

I will doing my bookings on RCCL or NCL in the future.

What a ship, fantastic!  Room was super great, thanks to Neal.  Excursions were great, only drawback was that on 2 of them Carnival made us wait for last minute people who signed up, making us late getting started. 

The folks Carnival had working in the Pixal center leave a lot to be desired.

The room steward and dining room staff were fantastic.  The activities on the ship were constant giving us something to do all the time, from movies to the comedy club.  The food was exceptional!

One of the best thing we liked about this cruise was sailing for approximately 8 hours on the Mississippi River.  It was certainly a change of pace from most ships that head straight out to sea.  The food was good - service was a bit iffy.  The  Carnival Dancers performed three shows and they were all very good - high energy and great special effects.

The incredible crew onboard ~ Renaldo in The Crimson Restaurant and our stateroom steward Sety ... treated us like royalty!

The Dream does need to install electrical outlets nearby the beds for C-Pap medical equipment.

Food preparation and choices were superb.  Entertainment was fantastic.

Definitely will book again on The Dream - was truly "a dream cruise".
