Cruise ship was clean and food and activities were above expectation. I’ve been on Royal Caribbean last 3 cruises after taking 10 carnival cruises. The people on carnival are more rude and rowdy than the cruisers on Royal but maybe expected due to the cheaper fares. I would book a room on 11 or above to avoid young party cruisers.
Embarkation

There were two carnival ships at port that day. We ended up almost getting on the wrong ship after no less than 4 people checked our boarding pass, drug dogs alerted on our baggage and we were searched with nothing in our bags obviously, then a lady passed out on our bags in the waiting line for the wrong boat. Only reason they caught the mistake was that someone else was booked to that room.

Food and Dining

Buffet was ok. The dining room was excellent. Pretty much anything we ate there was delicious. The sirloin was a tough but not surprising w the volume of meals they have to cook. Love the burger joint, Mexican cafe and BBQ place. Lots of options open 24 hours even. Ice cream at all times.
Onboard Activities

Cabin / Stateroom

The size was appropriate and our steward made sure the bed was comfortable but we had rowdy young adults in a group all around our room which were up super late, drunk, screaming and slamming doors. The floor supervisor did respond when we complained and security did as well. It was handled as well as possible but I prob won’t stay on lido deck again.
Ship tip
Pick your room carefully. Try out all the food options.
We did the See and Sea tour where you take a water taxi to a mini sub that takes you to see the corral reefs and fish underwater. We then took a bus tour of Nassau. I liked that it was either windy or A/c was provided and not much walking. The tour guide was very informative.
Very quick and painless. Definitely do the self assist if you’re able. You won’t be waiting in a long line to get luggage tags and you get off before everyone else.
