Review summary

Crew were excellent, the ship was clean & very large which took most of the trip to figure out how to get around. The entertainment(main shows) was very lacking & inferior  to other cruises I have been on.  The Food was good but  the bread & deserts were boring.  The embarkation process was worst I have seen.    I lost count of the number of check points & therefor lines we had to go through.

K thanks.

@Hadaway08 10:30,is the earliest check in time you can get. Most people are saying loading goes much smoother, I'll be on next week...I'll let you know.

I contacted carnival myself and scheduled my check in time back in December and the earliest I could get in was 10:30. That sucks because Iv never bought ftf and always been first to arrive at port bout 8 in morning and been in zone 1 every time. Now we will probably be in zone 10. May go smooth but until we cruise is April I hate it lol!!

How do I know my scheduled time?

rosalinda2    8 years ago

We got FTF the last time we cruised but there was no scheduled time back in August.

You can check in anytime you want and you are directed through the priority lines.

rosalinda2    8 years ago

Dkf97 how does that work when you have FTF, but there's scheduled check in times?

This is the first time I've seen a bad review about check in since the scheduled check in times have started. We always get faster to the fun, makes check in a breeze. I agree about the shows, we don't go to any of the main shows, they are ridiculously cheesy. Kids love them though usually. And the desserts, have to say I've always found the desserts boring and tasteless. If I really crave a good dessert, I go to the coffee shop. You have to pay for stuff there, but it's just a few dollars and everything is delish! Hope you had a great time regardless of the negatives.
