Review summary

This was my 20th cruise ( first and last on Carnival ) and by far the least enjoyable. Medicore food, over crowded ship, poorly managed crowd control ( you coul not enter or leave Crimson Dining Room because Photographers blocked the way), high seas prevented stops at Hondorus and Costa Maya. Carnival is more interested in getting every dollar they can squeeze out of you rather than make it an enjoyable experience. Cruise director's constant chatter on public address system was annoying. I agree with the above comments. Although we couldn't dock in 2 ports, no attempt was made to dock at a nearby port to give us alternative time off the ship. Instead, we floated around aimlessly for 2.5 days with very little to do. the entertainment staff was not very entertaining and the available shows were very crowded. If it wasn't for the comedy shows, the entire cruise would have been ruined. the "fun ship" is not that muchy fun. This was my 6th consecutive cruise on Carnival, but I think it will be my last. I will try other cruise companies.

I was there and totally agree with above comments. Although the crusie director was very nice, her constant rapid chatter was irritating and difficult to follow. The ship could not handle all the passengers. Every lounge, bar, and theater seat was taken unless you arrived at least 30 minutes before the activity/show. Food choices were not as numerous as on other cruises and activities were limited. I will not be going on the Dream again.
