Good Caribbean Cruise (1st half of back-to-back) by CanadianNicole

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Conquest / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

We had a great time on this cruise. The food was good. The room was good. The service was good. The excursions were good. The ports were good. EDEN PARKER was amazing. If you are ever lucky enough to be on a ship that he is playing, GO SEE HIM!

Carnival Conquest Thanksgiving Cruise by lmatthew

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Carnival Conquest / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

Overall we had a nice time at the ports. The ships entertainment lacking. Ship is dated. Muster Drill was a complete joke! You should not have to stand out on the deck for this anymore and the release at the end was ridiculous. We also pretty much missed sail away because of this!

First cruise intro - great sunsets and beaches by Nachi

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Conquest / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

For first time cruise it was a great intro, stateroom staff and dining room staff were great. Staff are polite and quick to respond. Loved the sunsets on deck, had great weather a bit of rain. Dining room dinnners were very good. Like salad choice at buffet. Good pizza, close to Neapolitan fare. Guys burgers great when hot. Loved the citrus water at debark/embark, would prefer on ship rather than juice. Movie nights were great. Muster exercise slow, should show on monitors or in 2 waves as it took an hour to organize crowd. Use large theatres with staff demo safety vests, avert guests to view on TV channel in rooms. Lots of paper waste, tho for first timers helpful. Suggest have daily initerary on monitors in public lobby with take away pamphlets. I guess people like the personalization. Loved the private island, smaller crowds as not a shop a holic. But need shade but have to pay for it, I,e. Umbrella rentals. There should be a cruise culture where people don’t leave their garbage on floors/elevators, glass shattered in theatre and person left behind without averting staff. Hazard to kids. Don’t like walking through smoking areas, casino, mistakenly walked thru smoke deck uggg, try to avoid.

AMAZING TRIP by MarinaPolyarsk

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Carnival Conquest / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

Give more information about what to do about when you are in Nassau or Amber Cove for example because when we got off we had no idea where to go and how to get to the beach and where to get a taxi and all

First Cruise Ever!!! by LuvliePugh

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Carnival Conquest / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

The view was beautiful, the dinning halls were all great... Good food, only one suggestion will be to add Turkey products to the breakfast menu. Sausages, Bacon or Patties...

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Conquest / Destination: Bermuda

This was my 15th cruises and it was great. Bermuda was the most beautiful island that I ever visited. The ship was clean and had a good amount of entertainment. The staff was great. Carnival is our favarite brand because they have the best food and the best price.

Wonderful as usual by kpquilter

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Carnival Conquest / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

I would do this same cruise again. We had the best time. Enjoyed the food and show and the Leigh the cruise director was great. We had the best room steward with Pamungkas. The first day of the cruise we asked to have a bucket of ice each evening and we had one twice a day.

Absolutely amazing until Carnival employee(s) ruined my daughters honeymoon on the boat!! by Supamamax3

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Carnival Conquest / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

Carnival Conquest itself was absolutely amazing. However Carnival itself ruined my daughter's honeymoon aboard the Carnival Conquest. She had an amazing time on the ship however carnivals wedding coordinators and photographers was atrocious and made her honeymoon experience absolutely horrible!

Very Disappointing by Hana12451

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Conquest / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

I was very surprised at the lack of cleanliness and the age of Ship. I’m glad I brought my own cleaning products because the Balcony Deck was filthy, Deck windows and Stateroom windows were so dirty you couldn’t see out of them. The carpet was stained; the deck chairs were dirty. The TV is small (22 inches) and mounted on a ledge that sticks out so far from the entertainment area that you hit your head just walking by. A dark gritty substance was over the walls covering the deck, probably from the soot and smoke from the exhaust tails. The food was mediocre served in small portions in the main Dinning Room. The Captain never sounded the horn on the ship to warn passengers the ship was about to leave the port. I saw many people almost get left. In addition to all of the above, on the last day of Cruise before disembarking, armed Security guards came bamming on the door of the stateroom next to ours (7440) screaming to the passengers in that stateroom they had to be dressed so they could be escorted off the ship by 7am. This scared the heck out of me & my husband at that time of morning. Lastly, some of the Guest Services Staff were very rude. If it were not for the people I was traveling with; this would have been an extremely disappointing experience. We made the best out of the situation. What is so upsetting to me is I’m scheduled to go on another 14 day Carnival Cruise on December 1-14, from California to Hawaii and I want to cancel this Cruise because of my experience on this Cruise and I was told if I cancel; I will loose all of my money and my 9700 Marriott Rewards Points. This isn’t fair. I will probably avoid Cruising on Carnival Cruise Line in the future and just pay the money to Cruise on a better quality and better maintained Cruise Ship. I booked both of these Cruises on Carnival Cruise Line through . I will remember this when I consider making travel plans for the future...

We had an incredible time for our first cruise! The only thing I would wish was different is that there were people on the ship to welcome first time cruisers when we first got there. We were very overwhelmed and spent our first few days in our cabin. by ChaunteTinsley

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Conquest / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

Had a lot of fun! The ship was amazing, the entertainment was plenty and a ton of fun, and the ports were beautiful and had a lot of options for activities! The only thing I didn’t like was being sold things at every turn, but I know they have to make their money some way. Just beware that if you’re offered a drink in anything but a plastic cup or plain glass, then you’re paying for the drink and the cup it comes in! They get people a lot with that!

It was okay.. by kristy2008

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Carnival Conquest / Destination: Caribbean - Southern

The trip was okay. We tried to make the best out of a bad situation. We won't travel on the Conquest again due to the AC problems and the roughness of the cruise. Also, the comedy shows was disappointing that we were unable to get in to see them. We was only able to get a seat 1 time during the entire duration of the cruise. There was a constant line and the people from the previous shows was not getting up and going out to let others back in. I feel like the comedy shows should be in the big theatre because this was very upsetting since it is one of our favorite things to do onboard.

Not a good ship for no smokers by dvgpr75

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Carnival Conquest / Destination: Caribbean - Southern

Cigarette and Electronic Cigarrets were permitted in the ship. I'm very disappointed with that. I couldn't enter to the casino, neither in some areas (halls) because the smokes. I complaint several times mo actions.

Very Nice Vacation, relaxing! by LaurieLewis

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Conquest / Destination: Caribbean - Southern

For the money, it was a very good deal. Not much to do if you do not drink or gamble. Did not get off the ship, which was nice, had the ship to ourselves! Have been to the islands before, so did not miss anything.
