Overall we had a nice time at the ports. The ships entertainment lacking. Ship is dated. Muster Drill was a complete joke! You should not have to stand out on the deck for this anymore and the release at the end was ridiculous. We also pretty much missed sail away because of this!
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Embarkation was extremely easy.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
Buffet dining was not the greatest. Buffet serving areas need to be cleaned more. Food was OK. Mainly ate there for a couple of breakfast. Main dining room food was very good except for our Thanksgiving turkey meal. We are a family of four and none of us finished our meal. It also took TWO hours for dinner that night. Other than that most nights service was slow but our meals were good. We also ate in the main dining room for breakfast on a couple of occasions and it was excellent! If we had more time we would have ate breakfast there every day. Our servers were always nice but seemed under a lot of pressure and were hard to ask questions. Pool bar service was fine, bartenders were nice. Guys burgers(Excellent), Taco/Burritos and pizza were all very good.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
We played mini golf which was OK. Pools were not very clean. Children were overtaking the whirlpools.
Entertainment
2 out of 5
The pool DJ left a lot to be desired. He apparently tried singing along with the songs and it was awful. Our two adult children on one day decided to leave before he came back. Poolside entertainment was extremely lacking. The one show (Flick) we watched was low production and based on that we were not interested in anything else. Casino needs more of a non-smoking area.

Service and Staff
4 out of 5
Our Room Steward was extremely helpful. He greeted us the very first day. Asked what we needed and provided same. Guest service personnel were helpful. Waiters were all pleasant but you could sense they were stressed. Cruise director Leigh was very nice!
Ship Quality
3 out of 5
Ship design did not have enough open areas. Overall the ship was clean, but dated. Balcony glass needed to be cleaned.
Cabin / Stateroom
2 out of 5
The overall size was average. However, the couch was dated. The bathrooms need updating, get rid of the shower curtain, which also look worn. Towels were looking a little worn as well. Need at least one more outlet and install speaker system in room so that you can hear announcements without opening your cabin door. Our room steward did a good job of taking care of our room.
Ship tip
It is an older smaller ship. Entertainment is low production. The itinerary and Ports of call were why we booked this cruise
We had late afternoon flights so needed something to do while waiting. We did the Airboat tour and it was just fine. We saw alligators. Bus driver drove a little to fast for my daughters liking and she lives in NYC! It was worth the money however and transfer to the airport.
The only negatives about Half Moon Cay is the Buffet, again was not the greatest food and not very clean. We even knew to go early and it was still picked over. Also, we rented a float and when paying the employee stated that he quoted us the wrong amount. They told my husband that it is $20 for Carnival and $10 for Norwegian guests? Why the difference! Should be same for all guests!
Two of us it was our second time visiting this port. This time they did not have as much pool activities as before kind of disappointing. Did not go to beach or any excursions. Beach is to crowded.
