Review summary

I highly recommend this cruise.  After standing in line for hours prior to embarkation, the actual cruise was absolutely delightful.  The mixed population was warm and friendly. The weather was hot, but most of the beaches were beautiful and accessible.  Most of the excursions offered by carnival were overpriced, so we chose to experience each island on our own.

Most shore excursions are overpriced ! You have to pick and chose and stay with the snorkeling trips. Going on your own is better hire a taxi cab for the day and they'll usually take care of you. They know where to go and what to see.
