Review summary
we had sailed carnival once before, then took two Norwegian Cruises. By far the Norwegian Cruises were better. The ship was in a bad state of repair, the food was not up to par, the entertainment...a commedian and a juggler is not what i call entertainment. one band doing the same old tired classic rock songs. As for the ports, I still an trying to figure out why Grand Turk was included, There is nothing there but sand....Dom Rep. from all the info I got about crime there we never left the port shopping area, Curacao, not impressed and the excursion was supposed to take us thru town for "photo ops" and being a photographer I looked forward to this, WE NEVER STOPPED AND NEVER WENT THRU THE CENTER OF TOWN!!! no photos...Aruba....we chose to go to a private island with water park, snorkeling, beach, buffet and drinks included, and it was very expensive....such sorry excuse for food there too..and the drinks..packaged punch with alcohol..good thing I am not really a drinker. Water at the beach was all rock. No one even went in. the only bright spot was the water slides, 6 of them.
