Review summary

Some one forgot to tell us to bring a jacket, hoodie or sweater on this cruise as most passengers were freezing on the Conquest the entire 7 days. They could have saved a lot of money by turning up the air conditioning. The comforters on the beds were too heavy and with just a sheet one was cold. They need to have an insulated cotton blanket available in each suite. This ship is difficult to navigate. It took us three days to feel comfortable and able to find our way around the ship. I don't advise any person to take Carnival cruise unless you are a party, drinking person. There's not much to do for people who don't party and drink. We read three books on this cruise. The shows were geared to the younger generation and we left several shows after 15 minutes. We really enjoyed our shore excursions. Book these on line before you go on a cruise & you will save money. It seems like all cruise ships dollar you to death for everything. It's not fun cruising any more because nothing is free on a cruise ship. Some of the ships staff were not friendly and acted like they hated their jobs.

Ship tip

Always book the early dining time and get there early so you don't have to wait in line. Always check the menu for the day and if you don't like what they are serving head to Lido Buffet. After a week of the same fruits and veggies a hamburger is wonderful!!

If you are in your 60's, 70's or 80's, go with a cruise line that is geared to older retirees. This cruise was fine for the younger generation, but not for us.
