It was ok... not so great though as far as customer service... by thebigbaloo

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Carnival Celebration

Very nice ship with very small elevators. Food was very good other than Lido. Festivale was the far better choice and, of course, Guy's burgers as always is good. Cabins were very clean and other than the leaking A/C were fine.

Celebration was great! by HeelQueen999

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Celebration

Loved the whole thing. Loved the piano bar the most. The food was good in certain places. There were way too many people and too many things to do. But overall loved my time on the Celebration!

Ship is too big but that is good and bad. by heelking

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Celebration

This ship is big and with the good come the bad. Get in where you fit in and enjoy yourself. This is a different experience than other cruises we have been on but with enough research and understanding we had a good time knowing what to expect. Staff needs to be more personable and not all, some.

Great Getaway by envy1219

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Carnival Celebration

Although I didn't enjoy the food options overall it was a very nice cruise. The staff work hard and the ship itself is beautiful. Shout out to Gusti and Kate @ 820 bar. They kept everyone happy 😊

Ship: Carnival Celebration

Nice week of relaxing, ship was just way too big with too many people. Many staff was overwhelmed, but they were not the friendly carnival staff we were used to.

Wonderful ship with some design flaws by LisaMikeCruzes

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Celebration

When Carnival offered us a nice deal to sail the Celebration, we jumped, and we weren't disappointed - this is a pretty spectacular ship with an almost overwhelming number of dining and entertainment options. Celebration is a definite design departure from other Carnival ships, which can be a touch on the whimsical (or even gaudy) side, and they're clearly after a more affluent clientele. The only downside here, really, is the atrium, which is a stunning design but doesn't function all that well as an entertainment venue. Otherwise, we highly recommend Celebration and would love to sail it again, if a) Miami weren't such a pain to get to for us, and b) if Carnival would give us another deal!

A great ship but not perfect! by Rob086012

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Carnival Celebration

Central stage is a miss too many blind spots. Elevators are tiny. My Balcony cabin was small but actual balcony was huge!!! Bolt was AWESOME!!! After Covid buffets were mediocre. all dine in restaurants were great!! Overall had a great time (remember it’s what you make of it) don’t let the small things bother you and you will have a blast!!!

Is the Carnival Celebration worth Celebrating? by Alycia141

Ship: Carnival Celebration

Overall, I enjoyed my cruise. I enjoyed many of the activities and entertainment that were offered on the ship and there were some things that could be improved but outside of those things I had a great time.

40th anniversary cruise by louiew59

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Carnival Celebration

I was a little hesitant about the size of the Celebration. I was concerned there might be too many people and it would be crowded. Nothing could be further from the truth. I believe with the elimination of the atrium it gave a lot more useable space and spread the people out more. My wife even commented after we got back no more small ships. Overall, the ship was amazing. The restaurants were top notch. The entertainment was great.

Great Cruise 🤩 by Divegirl

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Celebration

I have been on many ships and this is now one of my favorite. I didn’t care too much for the Mardi Gras and was skeptical to cruise on her sister but wow! Much much better of a cruise. Outstanding staff, beautiful ship and food was decent in MD and delicious in Chibang. Casinos paid out massive jackpots. Did not eat buffet and loved seafood shack. Room was very comfy and relaxing. Bathroom is small compared to some but is functional for what it’s used for.

Always a great time by jhendee826

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Carnival Celebration

We always have a great time and make the best out of everything. The ship is absolutely stunning, but it is huge, so be prepared. While we had some dislikes, we had many more positives, and that's what it is all about!

Wonderful family vacation by Rachel123

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Carnival Celebration

We really enjoyed the trip and the new ship. I don't like the fact that Carnival has done away with self service laundry on these new ships. We have lots of workout clothes and it has to be washed. The 5 bags for $50 is what we used but the bags are very small and more costly than using self serve laundry. The ship is big enough to have this service. We are not Platinum/Diamond so we have to pay it.

Springbreak Children overload by dhernan81

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Carnival Celebration

Avoid springbreak on Carnival unless you have a million kids, unruly kids running around aimlessly and causing havoc. My room steward didn't clean my room several times because the snoozing sign was up and we were not even there and our snoozing sign was in our cabin, once the room steward and I realized we would make an effort to communicate everytime I left the cabin. Kids pressing all the elevator buttons. Running through the hallways and decks. Would stay in the pools and hot tubs all day. The comedian even joked how the cruise was a children's orphanage. The kids definitely outnumbered the adults. As for the ship, it's beautiful, the layout was great, and the venue's were nice. Plenty to keep you entertained, and although kids were everywhere, I still found some quietlocations because the ship is that big.

First time on Carnival and we LOVED it! by PJDH4

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Carnival Celebration

This was our sixth cruise as a family and first on Carnival. We will absolutely book with Carnival again! The fun, laid back atmosphere was perfect for our family. The food was good, drinks served quickly and there was plenty for everyone to do on this big, beautiful new ship.
