Highly Recommend Carnival Celebration by DaytonaGB

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Celebration

Carnival Celebration was fantastic! We would rate the ship 8.5/10. The ship didn’t feel full. The entertainment makes this ship special. Shaq’s Big Chicken is a must try for breakfast and lunch. Don’t sleep on Chibang! and Cucina del Capitano, they may even be worth paying $8 per person for a second night. You’re missing out if you don’t have Miami Slice. The service overall was very good. We highly recommend Carnival Celebration!!

Great celebration by derryman

Ship: Carnival Celebration

Liked the ship itself, but see a bit of penny pinching in the food areas. Did love the variety and the gelato!

The time of our lives by Gheemaster38

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Celebration

It was the best of times but not the worst of times. The ship and crew were excellent. The food was "high good" and favorable. Everyone seem to be enjoying themselves the entire trip. The not so good is on a ship this size it lacks that personal touch. The stewards are spread through the ship so you will end up having to go get your own drink at some point. This is not a big deal because it gives you the exercise you need to work off some of that food. The wait at the bar may be a little long, so have patience, and they will get to you. Waving a few bucks in your hand will help speed up the process. There is so much to see and do on this ship 7 days is still not enough.

Amazing Cruise by Createdinbeauty

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Carnival Celebration

All the venues are small so please plan accordingly. The spa was the best thing I did. Take advantage of the port day prices. Also, if you forget or don’t have time to do a beauty service (hair, nails, etc) at home, book at the spa. I received one of the best pedicures for the same price at home. It’s a new ship and lots to do. This was my first solo cruise and it was such an amazing experience. Don’t be afraid to travel by yourself. It’s safe and fun!

Caution when booking with carnival!!! by Scotiacruiser1

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Carnival Celebration

Be careful who you book your cruise through with Carnival. It included a drink package for the main guest and the companion. Yes, we have it in writing for that offer. Once we got on the ship, we found out only the main person had a drink package, and nobody on the ship would honour the promotion. Even though we had it in writing. Before leaving the port, in Miami, we made phone calls to Raul Lorie. No response. We sent two emails yesterday. More emails today. We had a friend call for us (we can’t make calls from the ship). Raul is not taking calls and not responding to voice mails or emails. It is a complete scam. Beware of booking carnival with these reps that call you!

Beautiful ship 🚢 by seahawks17

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Celebration

First off, this ship is beautiful and the layout for my wife and I was perfect. If I had anything to complain about, it would be that the elevators are small. Food options are amazing.

Well Needed Trip by jeffhiggins

For this to be a newer ship it lacks a lot. For some it may work however, this was not to my liking.

One of our favorite cruises ever. Great ship, great food, great value. by Mary804

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Celebration

We booked this cruise and booked a back to back on the new Icon of the Seas thinking the Icon would be our favorite. Surprisingly my husband and I, first time Carnival cruisers, liked the Celebration better. We felt the Celebration had better food and our balcony cabin was more comfortable with better AC. The main thing we liked better was how much less crowded the Celebration felt. The ship was a bit hard to navigate at first but we quickly found our way around and everything is laid out in a logical way. The free food was the best we have experienced, better than Royal and better and NCL. The other lines are not bad but not quite as good. And yes Shaq's big chicken was better than Chick Fil A.

Overall, the cruise was amazing. We had a great time enjoying the new ship. It’s huge, but it never felt overcrowded so that’s good. Only place is really crowded is the casino.

A pleasant surprise by ArielPod

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Celebration

I wasn’t expecting too much from Carnival, but have to be honest, it was much better than I expected. The ship is gorgeous and the crew was amazing. The food was very good with a lot of great included options. Maybe the buffet wasn’t that great, but all other venues were excellent. Entertainment was very good and the Cruise Director Louie was amazing. The Serenity Area is one the nicest spaces on any ship. Overall i was very impressed with my Cruise. Will highly recommend Carnival Celebration and this class of ships.

Celebration Cruise by sjschuler

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Celebration

I was disappointed in the sports viewing. Our favorite teams were playing several times on ESPN, and ESPN2. Pre cruise I checked to see if these stations were available and was assured that they were. It turned out that on Carnival, ESPN and its affiliated stations subscribe to the Caribbean versions and all that was available was Cricket and a whole lot of soccer.

If you value basic hygiene, avoid Carnival. by tapout87

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Carnival Celebration

My cruise started off with the room steward saying that my cabin was not mine and belonged to someone else. I tried explaining I upgraded in the terminal and showed him my room key opened the door. Turns out someone had already been in the room and debarked. I wonder why? That’s why there was such a great deal to upgrade. He instructed me to leave the room immediately and I asked him to please call the housekeeping manager, he refused. After waiting 2 hours in the guest services line, the housekeeping manager finally showed up and I explained the situation. I didn’t see the steward for the rest of the cruise. I was offered $50 Carnival experience, not onboard credit. I had to tell them what I wanted to use it on. After we sailed away, I found our Bolt was not going to be working AT ALL for my sailing and the following 2-3 sailings. The soda machines in the buffet did not work all the cruise long. Don’t get me started with the elevator etiquette because Carnival cruisers have no class. They will just jump in front of everyone waiting. Saw a few fist fights. Sea day brunch is trash. Main dining room is trash. The best place I found to eat on this ship was the deli on deck 8 next to the pizza place. I could really go on but I want to forget about this terrible experience and get off this ship ASAP. I think you’re supposed to feel the opposite of that at the end of the cruise. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere because Carnival Celebration is trash and you will be treated accordingly.

My typical new year’s cruise by GiantRay

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Carnival Celebration

It was a nice cruise especially when you have your love ones around you. I don’t have to much to say. Is always the same thing ( for me that is ) but if you have never been on a cruise on New Year’s Eve. I highly recommend it. As you see we always cruise during that period.

The ship is huge. There is a lot to see. Like most ships we stick to the same route. It was a little chilly over Christmas so the water activity's we're a no. Staff was great. Although tired and some let you know. by kt7741

Celebration Christmas Cruise 2023 by CALBO

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Carnival Celebration

The cruise overall I would say was a 4star, the celebration theme wasn’t really exciting in comparison to the Mardi Gras from 2022. Lee the cruise Director was good and entertaining but it was like Kendal Fire and the Mardi Gras
