Carnival Celebration

7 Night Eastern Caribbean (Miami Roundtrip)

Sail date: March 24, 2024

Ship: Carnival Celebration

Traveled as: Large Group

Review summary

The spring break cruise is crowded but I will say Carnival knows how to handle it. We had a blast! I heard some other families had issues, but not us. Dinner was great, entertainment was awesome, bar hopping was really fun. I was impressed how staff all over the ship knew our names! I would specifically like to say the "Gold Jubilee" bar staff were outstanding. Overall will do this cruise again at some point!

We are platinum now, so it was quick but a little un-organized.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Everything was delicious. Especially the lobster and prime rib on elegant night. We did assigned dining, and had no issues. We did hear some people waited a long time on anytime dining.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Enjoyed all the entertainment we went to. The Taylor Swift concerts were packed but fun. Love and Marriage show and Family Feud were the best versions we ever saw.

Ship tip

With 8,094 people on board, it was packed. Over 6,300 guests and 1,700 crew. But if you plan everything out, you will have a great time. We had no issues with lines or having fun. The bar hopping is the best on any cruise.

Ports of call

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

Went to a new beach this time, instead of Megans Bay. It was great, but I'd say Megans Bay is the best. It was crowded with 3 ships in port here.

Amber Cove (Puerto Plata), Dominican Republic

Everyone loved the resort and zip lining. Swim up bar was nice

San Juan, Puerto Rico
