If you are a hot natured person...bring a small fan. It was cool in our stateroom but there was absolutely no airflow.

If you have specific food allergies/intolerance's, and your waiter does not seem to understand what you are talking about, request wait staff that understand. Do not try to suffer through! Trust me, it's not fun!

If you need to "transfer" from the ship to the airport, schedule a later flight and take your time getting off the ship. Uber and Lyft rates go down considerably after 10:30/11:00am. Also, they are cheaper than many other forms of transportation...carnival transfers and Galveston Express.

This was our first cruise but we heard from other people that it was nicer than some other Carnival ships so we will try to get this one next time!

load the carnival app before you arrive on the ship and activate it as soon as you board and this will be very helpful. It is free to use. It gives you a daily hour by hour schedule of events which you can select as favorites and you will get reminders ahead of time. You will also be able to manage your funds account on it.

The first time we sailed we were in one of the Cove balcony rooms on deck 2. I'd stay there again! The balconies feel more closed off and private.
