My husband and I chose to not to any excursions in order to have a relaxing, easy going time. We enjoyed our time on Carnival Breeze and leisurely strolls in three of the four ports we visited.
Embarkation

Embarkation was quick and easy! No problems at all.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Food was mostly good, but we did think the food on Carnival Sunshine was better last year. I was pleased that the sweets buffet offered gluten free options. I love how easy it is to have a gluten free meal in the dining room--just order ahead of time! Breeze was using the Carnival HUB app to reserve tables for dinner for the first time--it worked great! I hope they continue to use it. We didn't use any for-pay restaurants. The coffee shop was excellent, and they gave us a punch card that offered buy six get one free! I had loved the iced tea on Sunshine last year but didn't care for the tea on Breeze at all. All of our encounters with staff were pleasant and friendly.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
We did not use the activities but did observe that there are lots of them on the Breeze! We did enjoy sitting on the Promenade and taking in the views.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
We got to see all the shows in the theater and enjoyed them. It is impressive that there are so many! The theater was large and wasn't packed out any time we were there. We really enjoyed the MJ String Trio who performed in the Atrium.
Children's Programs
We did not travel with children.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
We are very pleased with the service we received from every person we encountered on the Breeze!
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
It didn't take us long to find our way around the Breeze. We were able to avoid going through the smoke of the casino by using the Promenade outside. It was a little disappointing the the views in the Sapphire Dining Room were obstructed by lifeboats. The Atrium is beautiful. We like the overall design of Breeze.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Our cabin was cozy and clean and comfortable. We had more than enough storage for the two of us. Because we could store our luggage under the bed we had enough floor space, otherwise it would have been tight. It was a nice feature to have the small fridge, even though we only used it for bottled water. The desk/vanity area is big. The bathroom counter is roomy. The location under the Lido was not noisy at all. We slept very well.
We did not do an excursion, but we did stay in the area overnight before boarding. This is a pleasant area to visit. The Port itself is nice. We had no problems with embarkation or disembarkation. My only complaint is that it isn't clear where to catch a shuttle after disembarking. We sailed from here last year, so we knew where to go.
We did not do an excursion. This port is so much fun because there is so much to see--however, it is small and crowded and four large ships were in port the day we were there! It is neat to get to see the dolphins, flamingos, and exotic birds free of charge!
We had to wait longer that expected to get to disembark because of passengers who weren't following directions and possbily because of a safety drill. Otherwise, disembarkation went well.
