It was worth it to go get away from the kids for a week it was more worth it to do it with someone you want to spend time with and can make it enjoyable. My first cruise wasn’t fun and didn’t want to do it again. This one was more enjoyable and since we went we have booked 3 more! November 2019 April 2020 and august 2020. We are excited and can’t wait to see more, the carnival breeze was an excellent boat and well worth the money. We will take the kids on this one or similar next year!

Food and Dining

As always the meals on carnival were delicious menu changes in the main dining room depending on your locations. Buffet always offers the same variety of items American deli Italian Mexican comfort foods etc. water lemonade tea coffee are free throughout the day. Have to pay extra for soda and alcohol. We did not attend specialty restaurants on this cruise but we did go on sea day to a lunch at one it was okay but nothing to break about. It was the Italian place above the buffet.

The Fun Shops

They always offer wonderful items. No disappointment while here. 6 months later my “silver” bracelet is beyond tarnished and won’t come clean and the gems that were in it kept falling out. This was part of their $1 an inch sale. I got a hoodie and some body spray from the gift shop as well and continue to wear it no issues with these items.
Ropes Course

I am afraid of heights but the staff and company were pleasant and let you know as many times as you would like they do require sneakers and have cubbies for any items in your pocket. Well worth the experience.
Winner's Luck Casino

My dads favorite location. He earned money off future cruises as well. My fiancé and I are going to try our luck on the next one. They are allowed to smoke in here which is a turn off for myself.
Beach Pool

Overcrowded as is on any cruise we did not attempt to get in.
Entertainment

There was not a show or spot that we walked by that we didn’t enjoy. We loved the orchestra, comedy clubs the newlywed game, magic show it was all amazing. The crew put on a great show.
Service and Staff

The steward was amazing always was right there when we needed something. The wait staff was prompt and friendly the bartenders where fantastic and always nice to get to know something about them. The dining staff had to put up with my intoxicated father every night and I thank them for being so generous and sweet still. We loved the breeze and would do it again! The photographers take amazing photographs and are beyond happy to be there for you.
Ship Quality

No issues with cleanliness at any point. The dining room floor is always slippery be aware. I almost fell a few times in any shoe I wore. I wasn’t the only one either.
Cabin / Stateroom

It was an interior room with a king size bed two lamps overhead light tv desk chair and shower toilet sink three closet spaces. It wasn’t bad it was as expected and roomy for the two of us.
We went cave tubing long drive around the island about an hour each way but very informative and we learned all about their culture and the island. The caves were fascinating and nothing like you get here in NY. It was more authentic. We both would do this again. We also received lunch on the island their food that they eat in Belize. Coconut milk rice and beans with jerk chicken. Was delicious!
Now I love this one. My Man says otherwise we took a drive on a bus around the island to a jungle to go play with monkeys and birds and learn about pirates. The island was cool and not very hot the monkeys were playful and the information about the island and pirates was informative. The tour guide was younger and didn’t seem like he wanted to be there. Carnival bought part of the island so they have a lot of touristy things in their port it was all the same stuff you find else where. My fiancé didn’t like it because he said the tour wasn’t worth the money, it was about 50 dollars a person and lasted about 1 1/2 hours total with the drive. I would do it again it was always my dream to play with monkeys!
We got there a few days early explored the area and then walked around the beach at night. It was a perfect start to our vacation, we rented a car through Alamo picked it up at the Sanford airport and returned it at the cruise dock they then transported us to the boat and back to Alamo after for another rental. It was smooth and easy but time consuming as we had to wait for others to get off their boat before we could go to dock as expected.
No one wanted to listen and kept rushing to get off the boat so they had to shut down the disembark deck until people could listen. Took what seemed to be forever! Just listen to the directions and it would go smoother!
