We enjoyed our cruise. A time to just do nothing or do something. Our choice.
Gambling on board was fun but too tight. Save your money for fun in the sun
Embarkation
5 out of 5
We had priority check in and it was fast after we made it through the waiting crowd.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
We really enjoyed the Fahrenheit 555 steak house. Wonderful mean and service. The main dining room service was excellent and service was prompt. The food was all good just as we expected. Buffet was standard Carnival food and I enjoyed breakfast and lunch there.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
Pools were great, always full of nice people. Enjoy the trivia games more than most. Still working on winning a ship on a stick.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
We went to the stage shows and comedy shows. I liked 2 out of 3 comedians. One was just inappropriate in my opinion. The stage shows were entertaining.
Service and Staff
4 out of 5
Room stewards and restaurant wait staff were great. The problem we had was with the casino waiters. We had free drinks while in the casino It was difficult to get service after the 2nd night. They had more people to serve and it appeared less wait staff. We tipped per drink so that wasn’t a problem.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
The Breeze was clean and well maintained.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Our cabin had 2 bathrooms, only one toilet. One was with a shower, just like most cabins. The 2nd one had a tub an sink. It was great for getting showered at the same time.
I traveled with my son so we had twin beds the beds were shorter and more narrow than average room. It was a little like an adult sleeping bag. Overall a great room.
Ship tip
Carnival Breeze is great. I’ll choose the Breeze over the smaller ships out of Galveston.
I live close to Galveston so I haven’t been to other stateside ports. I just wouldn’t use the restroom there because they are not well maintained. Take Clorox wipes to be safe if you have to go.
Loved it! This is our favorite port Shops are nice. We walk to the Carnival beach that is free. Great fun there. We always buy our lunch there as there are several places to choose from.
