Overall, the cruise was wonderful! Relaxing, care free, and exactly what I needed. The service was somewhat lacking compared to Carnival cruises we've taken in the past, but nothing that really stood out as bad.
Embarkation

We forgot our kids' birth certificates in our rush to leave, and didn't realize until we arrived at port. The staff at port were WONDERFUL in helping us get everything sorted out!
Ship experiences
Food and Dining

Food was yummy, as always! They had to roll me off the ship.
Lido Marketplace

Really great desserts, and the deli is Great!! The buffet itself was a bit underwhelming, but still edible.
Atrium Bar
5 out of 5
Great place to hang out as there is almost always something happening in the Atrium that is fun!
RedFrog Rum Bar

Service here is usually slow, but this trip we had great service here!
Blush Dining Room
4 out of 5
This is where the service seemed overwhelmed. Really slow, and we never really were able to get to know the people serving us as we have in the past. It definitely wasn't bad, but just not quite up to par with what we've seen in the past.
Pizzeria

midnight must!
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
Lots to do on board! Water slides, suspended ropes course, mini golf, fitness center, spa...anything you could ever want!
Tides Pool

This pool allows you to see more off the back of the boat, and is a little tamer than the center beach pool most of the time.
Ropes Course

My daughter (14) especially loved this!
SportSquare

Always a fun time!
Cloud 9 Spa

My wife and I actually broke down and got a couples massage this time. It was AMAZING! Worth every penny!
Carnival Water Works

My teenagers love this area!
Beach Pool

A little cold, but fun for the kiddos.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
After several times now seeing the same stage shows, they're somewhat dry. The performers did a wonderful job, but I'd love to see something new. Most musicians were top notch, but there was a country group that needed some help.
Ovation Theatre

Beautiful venue! Shows are great, we have just seen them all a lot. Carnival needs to change it up a bit. But a very talented cast!
The Thrill Theater

My wife and kids all went to this and raved about it!
Seaside Theater

So fun to watch movies under the stars with some popcorn!
Service and Staff
4 out of 5
This is the first time I've ever not given Carnival staff 5 stars. For some reason it was lacking this time compared to other Carnival cruises. It seemed like there was fewer staff and they had more people to wait on, so there was no time to really get to know them like before, which really sucked because that's one of the funnest parts of the cruise to us. Service in the dining room was extremely slow. :(
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
This is my favorite ship layout I've been on, and our second time on board the Breeze.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Plenty of space for all four of us, me, my wife, and 2 teens. Couch/bed was much longer than most other cruise ships as my 15 year old son slept on it just fine. Balcony was wonderful to have!
Ship tip
The first time we sailed we were in one of the Cove balcony rooms on deck 2. I'd stay there again! The balconies feel more closed off and private.
Great stop where you do not need to spend money on an excursion! So much to do right off the ship! Shopping, large free pool and water slides, 2 bars (one poolside and one up on a hill with an incredible view), and great picture location with the ship in the background!
We did a zip lining excursion here. It was loads of fun if you're an adrenaline junkie, but it's about an hour and twenty minute drive to the place. The drive is seemingly more dangerous than the zip lining itself. We were taken in a large bus up a very tight two-lane highway on the side of a mountain. While the views up there were amazing, it is a very scary drive in a bus.
One of the most beautiful beaches I've ever seen! Another port where you don't need to spend money on an excursion. Beach is right off the ship and there is a Margaritaville right there with a large free pool and plenty of other restaurants as well.
