Overall had an enjoyable cruise. The biggest problem was the sewer smell in some areas and staff not being proficient in English. When you ask a question and must repeat it numerous times and still not get an answer is frustrating. The room steward and dining room staff were amazing.

The entertainment was non-existent; the shows were loud and lacked any form of entertainment quality. Even the secondary shows were poor quality-Spanish singer, which sang every night in main lobby (I guess this was the clientele' this ship was catering to); even the Piano Bar was pitifully-loud; couldn't play...just banged the keys. He did know ever song that was requested...but added a lot of profanity, obscene and objectionable material. We always book a baloney, however, with this ship I would never consider a baloney again! As smoking is allowed on all baloneys; and there was a definite fire hazard, as the cabins above & beside us we observed other passengers flipping cigarette ash as well as cigarette from their baloney...which could have easily blown back and started a fire. It should also be noted that one evening I was dressed for dinner, and went onto the baloney, and came back in covered with cigarette ashes...not a pleasant experience. Not only was this something that prevented me from enjoying my baloney; that I had paid extra for...additionally, I had cigarette butts all over my baloney every morning. I SAW NOTTHING IN THE CRUISE BROCHURE STATING THAT SMOKING WAS PREMITTED ON BALONEY! On our deck (which was deck 10); there were many young adults that ran wide open; and were very disruptive- which left us very uneasy until we finally observed Security two days prior to the end of this cruise, tackling the issue...however, the first six days no one seemed to address the problem. I did observe the profanity that was used by these young adults as they addressed the Security Force; and must say it was very disturbing. The food was pre-fab stuff lacked the usual choices; in the specialty dining room-I order lasagna- which had short rib meet & a sweet potato in it-lasagna it was not (appeared to be left over thrown in a lasagna). The buffet area was tight, not a lot of choices; long lines to get an omelet (even very early in the morning). When you come off of a cruise, and the best food compliment is that the ship had the most amazing Hamburger Bar; improvement is needed! The highlight of our cruise; and the saving grace was Serenity Level; and the wondering Bar Staff that served it - Ivan and Jana - without them I would have to say this cruise was a total waste of time.

This cruise ship was all and more than we expected. The Guy Fieri hamburger bar was terrific. My wife and I tried at least three different types and they were all very tasty. I enjoyed the water rides, however, I was hesitant to try the acrobatic walk. This was our eighth Carnival cruise and we found the food in the dining facilities to be top notch. Both our cabin steward and the dining room staff were attentive to our desires.

This cruise was booked as a celebration of my husband's 50th birthday. From start to finish Cruises Only kept us updated and knowledgeable about our trip. As this was our very first cruise, I had plenty of questions. Cruises Only was patient and answered every question and concern politely and professionally. The Carnival Breeze was an exceptional ship, very clean with top notch entertainment and FOOD. The food was delicious and the assortment plenty, we NEVER paid for a meal. Being a couple without children we were concerned about an abundance of children on board ruining our trip, but between the Kids Clubs and simply avoiding the water slides areas is was not a problem. The nightclubs and bars were not crowded but there were plenty of people around to enjoy the good time with. I definitely recommend Carnival and will sail with them on our next cruise.

The Carnival Breeze is a beautiful, sparkling clean ship that is maintained that way by the friendliest crew imaginable. Our cabin crew were especially attentive, tending to our every need and making sure our room was in perfect condition every time we stepped into it. We happened to get up one night about 3 AM and while strolling around the ship found workers scrubbing every inch of the hot tubs, and wiping down decks - it gave us a good feeling about how concerned they were for our well-being. The ports-of-call were great and scheduled in such a way that we arrived in the mornings, had a wonderful day on land and then sailed to the next ... very nice. By far the best bargain for us was the Cloud 9 Spa. We purchased the membership for the week and thoroughly enjoyed the gorgeous facilities. Situated on the top floor of the ship, we were able to watch the city of San Juan, PR come into view from the mineral water hot tub - amazing! I would definitely recommend this cruise to anyone, of any age. If you wanted to relax, which was our goal that was totally possible. However, there were many activities onboard that were fun and too many eateries to count. We had a wonderful time and can't wait to plan the next one.

Beautiful ship, beautiful and spacious rooms, nice layout, great staff, fantastic child club... We've had some problems in the beginning. Something was making noise so that we couldn't sleep at night. After 2 nights the staff recognised the problem and changed us into another room. They were very friendly and gave us a good solution to our problem. Unfortunately we did lose 2 nights and one day to move all our cloths. That's why we didn't give a perfect rating. Our favourite harbours were Grand Turk (=Paradise) and St Maarten (=super atmosphere and fun). All together we've had a great time and I must say that the food was great as well. Not only at the formal dining, but even the burgers and the burrito's were really good!

The Breeze is beautiful and very, very clean. The rooms were a decent size for 4 of us with a King bed, sofa/bed (twin size) and pullman (also twin size). There were lots of fun activities for all ages, such as water slides, ropes course, mini golf, trivia, movies and, of course, the professional entertainers (comedy, magic, juggler-we were too tired for later night fun) and our lively Cruise Director, Butch. We went on very good excursions at each stop, which were well run and worth the price. There was a nice variety to choose from. Oh, did I forget to mention the food? Delicious, abundant, decadent and service top notch!

We totally enjoyed our cruise on the Carnival Breeze. I went to give my 90 year old mother a holiday. She had already taken over 20 cruises and always had had a great experience.It was wheel chair accessable, shows were outstanding, tours were informative, food was great and fun in the casino. Appreciated the new ship and friendly staff. Linda and Alice

the food was not that good and every that you go to land and come back to the ship the only thing they have to eat is pizza and hamburger every thing else is closed

I though this cruise was about 3.5 out of 5 stars. I was surprised at how small the pools were and when you have a day at sea with 5,000 of your closest friends there is no room. There are only two water slides that really are short and the lines are crazy. I also did not like how they had several resturants on the boat to eat at but you had to pay to eat at them. The food was great, the room was fine, and we had a nice time. We were not impressed with the stops in Ocho Rios and the Grand Turks but Nassau was very nice. I think if I was to do it all over again I would go to an all inclusive resort and not have to worry about what is extra.

We had a great time on the Carnival Breeze. Kids enjoyed the waterslides, sky course and all the other activities that were available on the ship. I thought that having 1500 18 and under children on board was going to be a problem, but I never felt it was a burden. The shows were great. We enjoyed the family comedy shows and the kids loved the Hasbro game nights too. The ship was in great condition and the food was really good. The only thing I would suggest for future travelers is to avoid the My-time-dining the first 2 nights onboard. The wait time was so long that we went to eat on the Lido deck. The 3-6 nights were so much better and we got to our seats within minutes of arriving in the dining room. The crew were very helpful and always smiling. We will definitely be back again! I'm already looking into planning next years cruise.

The food choices were not that good Also the pool area was much too small everyone on that ship were all trying to get into that pool and it was a sea of people. Nothing can been done about that but for the future that needs to be address if you which for people to continue to go on your line

I am a 7+ cruiser and always enjoy cruising. I always use the same travel agent Phyllis Lashley because she delivers all the time. She always provide me with good suggestions, very attentive to details. Follow-up on queries in a prompt manner, I could go on and on. I will definitely recommend this cruise as well as my travel agent to family and friends. Joe our head waiter was the best. I'm usually not good with names but whenever I remember your name that means you have done something positive to be remembered.

Great room. Bedding was great and hot water in the shower was never a worry. Entertainment was top notch. Vegas style shows. The employees were extremely friendly and very helpful. Great water slide for the kids and Carnival Camp was a WIN. Downfall was the crowd of lines. Felt like I was always waiting in a line. Felt like Disney. One hot dog cart for the whole ship that was open at lunch time near the mini golf always a line. The famous Guy burger joint always a line. If you wanted pizza when everything else was closed better feel like waiting. Wanted popcorn one night while watching the outdoor movie waited for popcorn for 18 min. The ship was also extremely big so there was a lot of walking and stair climbing because it was difficult getting an elevator at times. It was a fun time overall.

When choosing this cruise line, I decided upon it based on that fact that currently, this is Carnival's newest cruise ship. This was my 8th cruise, so I wanted a new experience, of course. Overall, it was a beautiful ship. It is decorated in a very relaxing decor, lots of light blues and light wood tones. The cruise decorator, Butch, was the best one I've encountered yet and the entertainment staff is a lot of fun, really into dancing. I LOVED the nightly broadway style shows on this ship. They have 8 dancers/singers, instead of the usual dancers and 2 singers. They also have a computer interactive background for the shows instead of props only, which was amazing!! The British Invasion show is a must!!! However, I would say the food quality seemed a littler lower on this ship compared to the others I've cruised on with Carnival. The Mongolian grill on board helped make up for this though. Overall, I would recommend this cruise to my friends and had an amazing vacation. Thank you Carnival for another great vacation!

I was expecting a lot from this ship, especially where the dinning is concerned, the food was not what I expected and I think they lacked on entertainment. The comedy club was about it and the ship was do packed they turn you away because of space.

The selection of food was poor. Some nights it was difficult to find something. The food was always cold. Formal dinner was not formal, people in flip flops, shorts and a shirt without sleeves (for men) was allowed in the dining room.This is not the setting or ambiance I expect on a 8 night cruise. The Maitre D never came to our table or the surrounding tables to introduce himself. The staff was friendly, however the service was superior before they started to deduct the tips from the credit card. Our cabin Stewart walked in while we where dressing without knocking at the door. After that we locked the door, It happened multiple times that he attempted to get in the cabin while we were dressing for dinner. If he would have paid attention that we have late dinner seating he would have known. It is however unacceptable just to walk in without knocking. I have cruised many times (8 times) and I will not cruise with Carnival again. Food and service on the Royal Caribbean are by far superior. The entertainment was real bad. There were evenings were no entertainment was offered. The shows are horrible, the singers can not sing. The Comedy shows are fun, not enough of them since all the other entertainment was so poor.

I very nice cruise. Especially enjoyed the comfortable, balcony cabin. Compares well to other cruise lines we have been on..RC,Celebrity, Princess. Was pleasantly surprised by the fellow travelers, who were polite and friendly...even though there were 3500! The food ranged from OK to good. You could always find something to enjoy. Service was OK also. Not overly indulgent, but there! Some complaints as always..the Marketplace buffet area was poorly designed. Food was warm, but salads got boring and overall food was just fair. Dessert were just ok. Often resorted to the hambuger station. Overall, the cruise was enjoyable and well run, but sevice was sporadically good or fair,

I like to see manners and service improvement from chinese and indonesian restaurent (sapphire and other) waiters. Touching and pushing cruise customers hurting women in the process is horrifying. Tell them not to touch customers. Also photographers have to behave politely and to the wishes of customers not pushing them. A white photographer was very rude. A white woman receptionist on 4th floor sapphire was extremely rude, out of her mental control and not coopertive but bullying your customers. Rest of them were wonderful and cooperative. You probably know that character. Also we like to see equality and proper opportunities for minority customers like Asains and others for show and game particaipation in your theaters. They are ignored and set aside which is illegal and discremenatory per USA laws Also like to see that people do not occupy empty chairs with towels and other things for themselves and their group. Other customers have to leave the site without enjoying even though they are paying customers. An old woman was occupying three chairs under umbrella with food dish, towel and herself. These observations indicate managment has to improve situation a lot for Carnival to get better image after a few mishap accidents.
