It was the best family vacation we have ever had. All 3 of us are adults and younger folks may find that gears itself to an older crowd.

Getting on was easy!
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
There were several places for breakfast: breakfast burritos at the Blue Iguana, the buffet, and the dining room. Lunch had the most variety of all. But, dinner was slim. There was pizza, the buffet, or the main dining room unless you wanted to spend $$$.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
The activities were hit and miss. The parties were OK. The arts and crafts was something you could take and do later on. There were not really instructions for it. The music across the ship was dated and I am 37 so 20 something's be warned you will not know many of the songs played onboard. No one came to the singles gatherings. The trivia was fun!
Entertainment
4 out of 5
I enjoyed motor city, the rock n roll show, country roads and the 50s themed show they were all great! Mark Preston was superb especially for my Dad it was his era. The Tindells music was relaxing to listen to. There was not a lot of music from the last 20 years being played onboard, most of the music was dated. The piano bar was great until it got late and then it became Davey Wild and the drunks with a lot of off key singing. Go see every comedian onboard they were the best part!!
Service and Staff

Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
We had a huge cabin it had room enough for my moms wheelchair and scooter. It was handicap accessible with a wider door and large bathroom with pull bars and a seat in the shower. The obscured window was not obscured at all I could see everything. We had the best cabin onboard the whole ship.
Ship tip
Twenty something's could be disappointed the music is very dated and I am 37.
The food is not as southern comfort food as I would have liked. They served seafood a lot. The Mac and cheese is tasteless and chicken comes grilled rather than fried.
We went to Baby Beach it took too long to get there and busses only ran until 5 pm so we got there spent about an hour and then had to turn around and leave. Not really worth it.
We did the ultimate snorkel excursion we saw an underwater shipwreck, we got to snorkel with turtles, we got a BBQ lunch buffet, and we rode in a glass bottomed boat. It was fun!!
We did a day pass at Timothy Beach Resort. We used the pool and snorkeled in the ocean. We had BBQ ribs for lunch. Everything was included in their $30.00 price.
We had to leave!!
My mom was in a scooter and most of the elevators were marked out with an x so it took forever to get off the ship. Then in the terminal one elevator was down so it took an hour of waiting in line for us to go down one floor. Go port left without us but another passenger called them so they sent another bus. We started disembarkation at 8 and did not get on our go port bus until 1 it took 5 hours!! That's nuts!!
I found Aruba excellent...OK was there for a week. Baby beach is quite a distance from port but there are places closer. About disembarkation. Elevators are machines and will break down. Can't blame anyone for that.
Oh, you were on a journey cruise. Yes, it's more geared to older people because that's the main clientele on those cruises. That's why we like them. If you want to cruise for that many days I would suggest back to back cruising, it'll be a younger crowd.
