Food at the buffets some nights were even better than the food in the traditional dining rooms. Can't say enough about the quality of the offerings.

It's easy to over-eat. Order breakfast in the room and only make one lunch plate at the buffet and you won't regret it. Have dinner in the dining room and take the waiter's advice.

The hours of the Horizon Court buffet were particularly generous--breakfast lasted until 11:30, lunch until 3:30, afternoon snack (a scaled down lunch) until 5:30 and a full scale dinner until 11.

The vines wine bar is the place to meet new friends and be treated like a special person by the staff. Anytime dining was good but there were lines suggest making reservations for dinner. The specialty rest were great as usual

Sometimes it is hard to find a seat in the buffet eating areas and I would not suggest anytime dining unless you are ok with waiting until 7:30 or 8:00 every night. The shows were some of the best I've ever seen on any ship, and I loved the violinists. Book your spa treatments early as they book up

Having a set dining time at night was a wonderful way for us to feel pampered and touch base with each other since we all went our own way during the time on board. Buffets were good but dining room food was amazing.

If you want a quiet place to read, head to Skywalkers in the aft. It's completely quiet--no Muzak--and the views and seating are terrific. Except for occasional special events, it's usually available until about 10 PM when it turns into a disco.

1. Bring canned soda to use as a mixer or something different - they are too costly on the ship and you are allowed to bring them with you on your carry on. 2. Order and pay for water bottles to have in your stateroom. We ordered 3 cases, at under $7 each case of 12, and wished we had even order another case! Best deal yet, and you do not have to carry those on. Use an empty water bottle to re-fill in the buffet with lemonade or iced tea and keep in your fridge in your cabin. 3. Go to the Princess theater at least 45 minutes early to get seats. So what you wait, order a cocktail and meet new friends, or enjoy some people watching with your cruise friends and family. 4. Hooks. Bring good quality magnetic Hooks to put up on your walls, as least 4 of them. Use for your hats, lanyards, scarf, necklace fan (yes, these are a must on a hot cruise!) and other items to better organize. 5. Tip your cabin steward a little cash with a cute card - or in our case I made a crab towel animal and had it hold the note with the $20. Our steward was thrilled and we loved making her happy, plus she took EXCELLENT care of us and deserved even another $20 cash at the end :) These people work EXTRA hard and long hours to make your room and your stay enjoyable and comfy.
